Does anyone on here have any idea what these television panelists get paid. I heard this Morning Pete Evans on MKR was on $850k per year and even one of his assistants with a very minor role was on $300k. This might explain why these journo's need to be controversial as reporting the facts does not relate into ratings. Mistruths (maybe lies) get more reaction. Craig Hutchison likes this type of journalism.

Somewhat related, but I heard a few years ago that Shaun Micallef's alleged rate was $30-40k to MC an evening event...not sure if it's right but there you go.

All I’ve seen is Nicksy giving Hart a pass and then basically putting it on the players but hoping they don’t get smashed. I guess the facts that the AFL got were a different to what Nicksy was told. But we do know that players are expendable at our club while staff are untouchable.

Whilst yesterday was a good result for the AFC, and no one likes giving it to the shocking VicMedia more than I do, broader issues remain.

Once again we get a black eye in terms of admin and competence. One of the players caught up in this was McAsey....what would his thoughts be i wonder.

Clearly a very professional youngster, was probably ribbed a bit when we called his name - few camp jokes. They would have been shaken off with a laugh and the thought that stuff couldn’t happen again.

In his first season he finds himself sanctioned by the AFL.

How is our reputation with players I wonder. Do they cringe at the thought of coming here? I used to think - why wouldn’t you want to come to AFC. Big club, well off, highly professional etc etc.

How do we attract and retain when we just appear a bit dumb. It’s one thing to push the boundaries and even break rules with ruthless intent, but Tippett, Camp and now Barossagate, all just seem a bit stupid - embarrassing

It’s like we just roll our eyes and think - what have they done this time. Hard to club to like sometimes

I acted I did not complain, I Pushed for change but I wanted the correct change, not witch hunts,
BF is not the best Platform a person can use to push for change, BF is more about discussing issues,
But reading and listening to people who continually complain, and yet do nothing is getting tiring,

BF is a perfect vertical slice of the AFC. We have Port trolls, Rucci and McClure aliases being used, serious crows people, others of no known affiliation and you have myself always right. How could you go wrong.

GC camp - unlucky, the speakers on the coach went haywire and then the curtains got wrapped around the players eyes
Barossa - Ben was sure they said 2 groups of 8 not 8 groups of 2
Jamo - he was taken out of context, he assumed he was asked what he though Port list management would say
Smart - his son stole his phone
Roo - his fans comments were early in the morning. How was he supposed to know people would be listening
Burton / Pyke press conference - they were in the early stages of Covid-19 and weren't thinking clearly
Talia-gate - He lost his phone, how unlucky is that

I am surprised it is that much, although to be fair that probably involves calling football on weekends, the fishing show he pre records and alot of promotional events.

He rates well so he wouldn't be easy to replace.

You serious. For 2 hours 5 days a week and lets say 4 hours on a Crows match day. Maybe a few hours a day through the week to prepare for the show. Thats about 20 hours a week. I get 58,000 working 40 hours a week.
