Yeah this is too Fagan clicky, we need to get Smart up front in an SA guernseyI'm actually disappointed. As far as our scandals go this is a piss weak effort.
Whole organisation needs to lift it's game and get us back amongst the elite scandals.
Seriously though, who would care enough to leak something like this to the media? Why are there no photos of this alleged ‘severe’ breach of training protocols?
If they were breaching self isolation back then, why didn’t it leak to the media? Why weren’t they fined?People care, and you can't trust players to do the right thing, that's why they are up there and not at home self isolating.
When Port got back from the Gold Coast and were meant to be self isolating their were a number.of reports of players doing all kinds of things out in the community.
I think our club sent our guys to the Barossa to avoid that but it has backfired.

Were 2 groups of 8 so nothing to worry about. Each group were wearing different colour bibs and all.We you have if you were one group of 16.

There was a coach supervising the routine program as well.People care, and you can't trust players to do the right thing, that's why they are up there and not at home self isolating.

"Significant" in Manures Crows vocabulary probably means minor but lets wait and see.
Could be a wide range of scenarios, I’m sure we will hear about it tomorrow. Tbh though, all I’m looking forward to tomorrow is further easing of restrictions! Once that news comes out this will be quickly forgotten about. It could be as simple as they all trained in pairs equal distance apart - managed by 1 assistant. Slightly suspicious but above board
Then the whistle goes to end the session and they all come together to walk off the oval while handballing to each other etc
Maybe
Nah if you’re gonna be brutal yo **** off the assistant toot sweet.Ok so who is gonna email Chapman with a 'incredibly disappointed in the conduct of the club.... As a loyal paid up member....... The continuous scandals the club is involved with is concerning..... I suggest a review of the board to weed out the members who have nuance for breaking the rules..... Fix your shit..... Regards ________'
I know some of you have a template ready to go that you just add some details to every time we stuff up.
Don’t these idiots know anything, first three rules when a accused of a breach."Adelaide is investigating a possible breach of the AFL’s training protocols by its players who are currently in a quarantine training hub in the Barossa Valley.
The League, as well as South Australia Police, had been advised that players who had returned from interstate on Monday would move into the Novotel Barossa Valley Resort to observe the requirement to self-isolate.
As of yesterday, the 16 players have been staying in their own dedicated rooms with a view to completing tailored fitness programs in the large open spaces of the precinct with instruction to not leave its boundaries.
Given their recent travel movements, the players are required to spend 14-days in isolation due to South Australia’s COVID-19 regulations and no other guests are currently staying at the accommodation facility because it is temporarily closed to the public.
Crows Head of Football Adam Kelly said the Club had become aware that players, who are being accompanied by an assistant coach who is also serving a mandatory self-isolation period, may have breached the League’s directive to only train in pairs during a scheduled session this afternoon.
“Players were told to complete any training in accordance with current AFL training protocols, which include not training in more than pairs and at all times maintaining social distancing, while staying at the facility,” Kelly said.
“It appears this may not have happened for the entirety of a skills session and we are in the process of gathering the facts and liaising with the AFL.”
The Club will provide a further update as soon as possible."

They haven’t broken COVID guidelines, unless the group was over 10 (if that were the case SAPOL would’ve made a statement by now). The AFL rules are about Victoria not being able to train in groups of 10, it has nothing to do with public health.AFL will be ropable.
They will be busy attempting to persuade State Govts “you can trust us to fly our footballers around the country and they will all be very sensible”. We haven’t even started and one of the clubs is already breaking the rules.
Breaking COVID guidelines is a terrible look at this time.
So what we have done is something which breaks the rules, is a terrible look - for no actual benefit to the footy club.
Incompetent.
Would be better off emailing Chapman that supporters are incredibly disappointed he hasn't resigned yet.Ok so who is gonna email Chapman with a 'incredibly disappointed in the conduct of the club.... Why only 2 people. I thought South Australia was able to have larger groups now. 10 I thought.Oh no, call the police, the Crows briefly trained with more than 2 people together at a time!
G'day folks, not gonna pretend like a mistake hasn't been made either by the players or the assistant coach, but that's all it was: a mistake. There will be the inevitable media beat-up, but if anything that will only serve to expose the complete ridiculousness of the AFL's current rules: NO contact beyond pairs, but btw our full-contact, 22-man sport is back on in a month's time!
If I'm your club, I'm not even releasing a statement breathing life into this total non-story.
).Trying to keep it level for Victorian clubs on tighter restrictions. Why only 2 people. I thought South Australia was able to have larger groups now. 10 I thought.
and send a photo “to whom it may concern” to show just how much I don’t care if I was Fagan.
