No waY can the AFL overrule a state government. If the SA government says it’s ok then they outweigh the AFL.Pretty much, and it's a spiteful rule from the AFL because the Victorian government still limits training sessions to groups of two.

Also priority access to draft any top ups that are good like tippaThe AFL should ban all 16 players from playing this year, forcing us to use top ups so we finish last and get the number 1 pick.
Just like they allowed with Essendon
They could have just as effectively self isolated in their own residence. The thing about self isolation is that it’s supposed to be self isolation.Surely it would be better if the AFC had players in groups of two rotating through Tom Jonas’s shack?
The “even playing field” from the AFL/VFL is total bullshit. The fact that the Victorian teams have a lower number of interstate players than the non-Victorian teams means that they already have an advantage. Less players to bring “home” and face a 14 day isolation period. If the AFL were so keen on an even playing field they would maintain the 2 player “rule” until every player in every team has finished their 14 days.
The usual suspects take the opportunity to pour shit on the Crows. IMHO it was a good idea for the 18 players to be isolated in a locked down facility. As far as SA‘s Covid 19 situation, people returning to SA from Vic/NSW/Qld are more likely to have the virus than anyone in SA. From a footy point of view a mini-camp would be more conducive for our players to prepare for round two than handballing with a mate in the backyard
My only complaint is that we were tying the naked players to trees, although it was in groups of two.
Just for one minute, could you think that this is a simple misunderstanding of a drill or is this just a flagrant disregard of the settings in place? That’s Monday.
Sending a group of 16 footballers to a resort sets up the potential for something like this to happen.

Greatly increases the chances of transmission of players that have been isolated doesn’t quite compute. They could have just as effectively self isolated in their own residence. The thing about self isolation is that it’s supposed to be self isolation.
Self isolation with 15 of your mates greatly increases the chance of transmission within the group.
As you say, guys coming from Vic are more likely to have it - why on earth would then put them together. Imagine if one of them has it - 15 others would get it pretty quickly.
Bizarre decision on a number of levels
We'd probably get pulled up for that as well. They could have just as effectively self isolated in their own residence. The thing about self isolation is that it’s supposed to be self isolation.

They can’t change their quarantine location one week in, hence putting them there from the start. That’s Monday.

What have you heard? From what I've heard this was not "training" as it's understood in the footy world.
Nothing to see here folks, move on.
Would you still think it was a good idea if one tested positive and infected 10 others? They can’t change their quarantine location one week in, hence putting them there from the start.

Is this the same stance you’ll have next week when all clubs can train in groups of 10? They would be more heavily monitored for symptoms than anyone in the general public. If one is asymptomatic then they would’ve eventually passed it onto someone anyway.Would you still think it was a good idea if one tested positive and infected 10 others?
Were the 16 players training as a group of 16 or as 8 groups of 2?
Awesome stylings. Draconian Pell like church monsters condemn inductees. We'd probably get pulled up for that as well.
"Adelaide crows make Victorian boys from good families isolate alone"
We broke no SAPOL rules, to me that's the main thing
At the moment it sounds like it's more on the players. It makes no difference, AFL decreed you could only train in pairs. It makes no difference in SA that you allowed to train in 10. The AFL advised all clubs no more than two. What part of that don’t people understand.
Another brain fade by leaders in our club. Follow the god damn rules! It is that simple.
"They have broken the AFL’s fairness guidelines (no more than 2 in a group in Vic) during a skills session today"
Laugh my guts out. AFL and guidelines for fairness in the same sentence. BAAAAA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA
SMD Gill.
And Sam Manure, fu** off you fat w***er.
You're a different cat hahaAwesome stylings. Draconian Pell like church monsters condemn inductees.
I'm actually disappointed. As far as our scandals go this is a piss weak effort.I'm honestly having a hard time giving shit about this recent "scandal". Just throw it on the pile.
Seriously though, who would care enough to leak something like this to the media? Why are there no photos of this alleged ‘severe’ breach of training protocols? At the moment it sounds like it's more on the players.
