I'd rather someone competent who is a bit awkward when speaking than someone slimy like ScoMo who always seems confident but that confidence comes from a complete lack of awareness about how little he knows.

The Club and the players are dumb. Did they think they could get away with it? You can't do a thing in South Australia/Australia/the world(!) without someone seeing and informing on you. We've seen throughout the lockdown that footballers are stupid. Ours were stupid enough to be caught.
Yep .. the old rule of ‘3 people can keep a secret, if 2 of them are dead’The Club and the players are dumb. Did they think they could get away with it? You can't do a thing in South Australia/Australia/the world(!) without someone seeing and informing on you.
It really shouldn't be in Victoria. Its becoming irresponsible and unsafe for players. Why would players feel safe going to Victoria right now?He really loves to say something without saying anything of substance. It does sound like we will get an announcement from the AFL shortly though about when everything will recommence.
Based on advice from the medical professionals apparently. Hard to argue with in these timesAny state govt that knocks back a decent financial injection as long as it's managed safely during a time when thousands are being laid off should give it better consideration.
I bet if you rang and said your neighbour was breaching quarantine laws the police would investigate. Or, like any other thing that was breaking the law.If I complain that my neighbor is secretly Tupac the police don't investigate, they tell me to go away.
They only devote the resources to an investigation when they believe it is worth it to do so because a law may have been broken.
Would like this more if I could. In fact this should be a headline on the news.So we're now heading into a season where we will not be allowed to play any further games at Adelaide Oval, but we've thrown the integrity of the competition into question with 8 players doing some circle work for half an hour. Jeeeezus.
Thats true,Melbourne is a uniqie unique electorateStrange comment given Daniel Andrews has been quite popular in Victoria throughout his two terms, at least in contrast to ScoMo's national popularity
It's not so much about keeping secrets, but about being seen. You can guarantee someone will see you no matter where you are ... in this case, someone had no hesitation about dobbing the Club in.Yep .. the old rule of ‘3 people can keep a secret, if 2 of them are dead’
Because nobody cared, about it back then and it was Port.If they were breaching self isolation back then, why didn’t it leak to the media? Why weren’t they fined?
So 2 groups of 8.
No laws broken but an AFL directive. I'm still interested to know how people are equating this to a gross breach of public health.
If that’s the case it’s not. Although query the self isolation aspect.
At best it’s really dumb - and the club doesn’t have a lot of capital left in that regard.
Who would look at our club and say yep they’re a professional well run club anymore ?
I question the use of the word “personality” very looseBecause nobody cared, about it back then and it was Port.
Don't you find it interesting this was leaked to a VIC media, one that works with a certain SA radio personality,
Believe It was the Crows that involved SAPOL, and the AFL.
Any concerned person would have contacted the SAPOL.
My view is more around the way he speaks and presents himself....he looks and sounds awkward IMO.
Fagan on radio couldn’t confirm the circumstances other than to say a number groups of 2 converged for some drills. He confirmed SAPOL are investigating it too.
I think Garry Lyon has echoed my thoughts - why do it? Why send 16 players to quarantine together with all the potential that carries for a mistake.
Cleared by SAPOL
The players totally ignored the guidelines. Typical dicks, what’s so hard to understand about training in isolation, or in pairs.Would like this more if I could. In fact this should be a headline on the news.
I think you give the players too much credit. Most of them are absolutely oblivious to the outaide world
