5 Murphy- Thats how you lead skip
4 Krooz- The tractor was in full motion yesterday
3 Docherty- Tough gutsy and miserly as always
2 Plowman- showing why he was a high draft pick
1 Gibbs- Could of gone to a whole fistful of others, but thought Gibba was good all day

BNB SPS- Silk

5 - Murphy. Another outstanding game from the captain. Finally people are remembering the player he is. I'm not a big one for SuperCoach, but that just one player in the league has amassed more ranking points across the first three matches - Dustin Martin - speaks volumes of his form.

Murph's game was reminiscent of Judd v Port Adelaide and Sydney, both interstate and both in the wet. At the heart of everything we did well, brilliant across four quarters and unrelenting in the example he set.

4 - Gibbs. The price isn't going down, Adelaide.

3 - Plowman. Depending on the prism through which you watch Carlton play, young Plowman might be leading the best and fairest. We know he's a little undersized and lacks pace, but his reading of the play, anticipation and courage more than makes up for it.

2 - Kreuzer. Never stops moving. Never stops working. Never gives up. Leunberger mightve shaded him in the ruck duel, but the winner around the ground was unanimously our #8. Tackles, clearances, knock ons and pressure acts, Kreuz was enormous.

1 - Marchbank. We've an absolute star on our hands here. I'm not sure how good he'll become, but he's our best natural defender since, well... the guy who picked him.

I feel gutted to have left out a number of players, all of whom warranted more than just the one vote.

White was outstanding. Macreadie, Williamson, SPS, Silvagni and Pickett were tireless and not out of place on the big stage in the big wet.

Docherty and Rowe were fantastic, Curnow made Merrett a non-entity. A great performance by a great many.

5. Murphy, 32 touches, 2 clutch goals, 6 clearances, played a real captains game and lead from the front.
4. Gibbs. 35 touches 20 contested 8 clearances, 8 tackles, 2nd best mid on the day.
3. Krooz 14 kicks 11 tackles 8 clearenaces, got back on top in the ruck in the 2nd half.
2. Plowman 18 touches 6 marks 2 contested 8 intercept, was our best defender on the day IMO.
1. SPS 18 touches 12 contested 8 tackles 1 goal 1 GA, was super impressive in the conditions, so clean.

BNB Williamson 15 touches 5 tackles, just looked up to AFL standard, very nice left boot too.
