I have just heard that the team are still in Melbourne. There is trouble with the plane apparently. They now do not know whether they will be able to walk the ground tonight.

Ah the genius of the AFL going back on promising a direct flight is now being compounded. Bets on Demetriou saying there's not a problem and anyone at the airport could tell the plane is just fine and what would those actually travelling on it know compared to the brilliance of the hierarchy of the AFL ?

Wouldn't his ocean liner work just as well? They could stay on it and save money on accomodation...
