To be fair, it would make sense to move Cordy back if you were protecting a lead, you have to be prepared to concede a few to open up the possibility of a comeback

Finlayson is allowed to play on around the mark to get a better angle for a potential pass, see none is on, and return to his mark. Gardner standing there on the mark arms up to the ump saying "call play on man". The replay even shows the sidestep from Finlayson that was play on. So the umps call play on twice to us but not for that? Ridiculous.
