City lost by 9 points, good fast game. Wardy compound dislocation of 2 fingers should miss 3 -4 weeks, pretty good result considering his fingers were pointing in all directions

Doveton eagles played Lyndale away today. Lyndale by a kick or 2 in the ressies whilst it was Doveton by 94 points at half time of the seniors. other results??

Cheltenham lost to Beaumaris (C Grade Ammos) in all three grades.
Seniors got flogged by 12+ goals. Lost a number of players to injury during the game. Doesn't look good for the first few rounds.
Reserves lost by 5 goals after being run over in the last term
Colts took the game up to Beauy but were outclassed in the end.

Did Moorabbin field two sides?
The Local rag said last week that they might fold due too a lack of players etc.Looks like it could be a very long year down at Moorabbin.

Good win then for St Pauls. You woud think from looking at the weekends results with the top 3 teams last year all playing B-C Grade ammo teams that St Pauls and City will clearly the top two teams.

Bears players Mt Wav yesterday in windy conditions at Moorabbin. I think both games were pretty even, i only saw the last qtr and a half of the ones but i was pretty impressed with Mount, like really fit and had some good/big key position players.

It was 49 points with Ormond having 10 regulars out, including Matt Robbins who had a wedding and played in the Ressies, but St. Pauls were very good and moved the ball very skillfuly in to the forward line. It was a good tough game of footy that promoted our great game.

moorabbin fielded 2 teams, with approx 6 players on the sidelines to be available round 1, so no problems with numbers now. 2s improved from last year, skills & running a lot better. 1s was more a result of only having 14 players on the ground by the end, decimated by a lot of minor injuries which had the effect of blowing out the result. Having said that, Hampton have definitely improved from last year and will give it a shake in divvy 3.

Solid, as in going well,has added depth to our midfield, hardly missed a session , both him & Mongo have been great additions to the club
Add to your depth lol? he is just another cheap thug, down at your club, who struggles big time against the good teams especially when his opponent is a 17 year old. When he gets his arse towelled up, he resorts to being a sniping thug that he is. He must believe picking on younguns makes him feel like a big man. The guy is pure scum
