Possible Practice match strategy from here.
We have 3 practice games to go.
What we know is that other than, Murphy, Cooney, Reid, Barlow, Hargrave and Lake, all the others have had full preparations so far. Hudson and Hall did play the intra club but missed the NAB 1. We also know we take on Brisbane at Princess Park this Saturday, ideal venue.
What we don’t know is where NAB 3 and 4 are played. Bound to be one or both on the road, possibly interstate and that will impact on who plays in those games. We also don’t know is where Reid and Barlow are at.
I think we should play NAB 2 and 4 with 3 interchange and a sub even if we are allowed a larger bench. We need to get used to that rotation, and look to trial some options there. But use as many as possible in NAB 3 with the kids.
So I think they will play best possible side this week, Murphy should be back. They should play Hall and Hudson.
Then week 3 probably go mostly kids and then we rest Higgins, Gia, Picken, Morris, Williams, Cross, Boyd, Hall, Hudson, Ward, Murphy, Gilbee and Griffen. Cooney is scheduled to play NAB 3 but it might depend where the game is. Maybe he will just play NAB 4 and possibly have a hit out at Willi pre round 1.
