I think you are right, to me when you watch him he just doesn’t have the see ball get ball mentality, danger has it jhf has it and thankfully Draper has it. Curtin is just so tentative when around the ball, he appears to not quite know whether to go for the ball or look after his opponent and if I stuff it up I’ll get told off!
I hope he hasn’t been Chance jonesed!

Massive overreaction re Curtin.

Also, its Chayce Jones

People losing it off one game in sloppy conditions in Feb

He’s in development phase , these games will happen but important thing is he’s got it so just keep playing him
A good question would be..

Does playing Tex hurt Curtins development and output in 2025?
Could we find room in the 22 for another ground ball player instead to maximise frontal pressure, turnover etc?

E.g. Pedlar, Berry, Schoenberg

Yep lots of maybes there including not knowing what Curtins best role will be yet

Would like him to be in the 22 or sub at times in first month where possible

Would like Zac Taylor inc in that batch

Yes that's my concern to, seems over coached so is in two minds all the time, we need to simplify his message to help him. He has talent, there's no doubt there just needs help in other areas

Yeah, unfortunately, Curtin is in the 16-22 slots of a lineup, so that's not going to happen. Those positions are just about making sure your Rankines and Thilthorpes (replace with whatever sides superstar talents) are able to do as much damage as possible by plugging in gaps.

However, most of it was just Curtin had a bad start to the game and didn't quite find a way to work his way into it. He'll learn, as it's experience that gets you through the lean patches.

Draper ? Couldn’t have possibly been more 🔥 than what he was

He was unreal

I reckon the only thing Draper could have done more was to take a contested possession at the bounce, break away, run to 50 and slot it.

I know he will do it sometime this year, he looks that type of player

That media stuff was BS. Worrell celebrated for about 1 second after a tight finish. It was a North Melbourne player that tweeted it first I think. What a dweeb. He should concentrate on helping his team win more than 4 games this season rather than being a DH.
Sheetal I think.

Cheezel needs to worry about his game.

It wasn't Sheezel, just some random dickhead with Sheezel in his display picture. Pretty funny given North haven't won as much as a raffle in recent memory.

That makes more sense, was having a hard time imagining Sheezel doing something like that, seems like a good bloke (the fact he looks like such a nice, sweet kid probably the main factor there).

I wonder what the coaches make of Murray's kicking errors?

Are they happy for him to take a risk in the corridor? Aggressive option, back yourself.

Or is he seen as an up the line hoofer who should stay in his lane?
He's always wanted to be agressive with his ball movement, which I like.

He just... picked bad options in the practice game. Tell him to keep it up I say.

This will happen across the board as well

The play on game brings these moments - its how you then defend against them that determines our ladder position

I would prefer we do this - make some mistakes - but take the game on

Teams practice practice practice setting up zones and space on the field that play-on is one way to break that up

Who is actually complaining? It seems the complaining about the complaining is also a beat up
Amen. Why on earth is this commentary continuing? It was always nothing. Noone here ever complained and why on earth would anyone bother to get aggravated by anything on X? I don't recall any mention of this in the real media. Let's ignore it.

If having a bad day kicking, should be handballing off to the likes of Hinge, Woz, Max & Co.

Did you see Zorko questioning the ump on the siren like they should have got a free to win the game.
Flogs going to flog I guess.

The only player I reckon is worth considering switching Tex out for is Toby Murray, and that's purely to get Thilthorpe away from the ruck.

Other than that, I doubt it's time to move away from Tex.

How many clubs are going with 4 tall forwards in their 22? There's a reason there's no others and it's not because they want to but can't get the players. It's a bad setup tat will cost goals on rebound. Extending Tex was a mistake but we're stuck now, if Curtin plays, he makes 4 tall forwards, it's no good.
