Just watched the game replay, I'm not prone to obscenity but the guy who pushed Lalor should without any doubt at all be suspended!! P**k pushed him plum 2 hands between the shoulder blades!! Very dangerous. He looked almost unconscious for a few seconds while in seated position, I'm astounded anyone with a brain would do such a thing in a practice match in the last minute of any match let alone a scratch match!! I am livid!!

Post thought...Never thought I'd say this but I agree with Mathew Lloyd, a type of tunnelling. Could have ended Lalor's career with a neck injury.

Absolute dick move pushing opponents into contests like that. Happened with Soldo a few years back too. Has to be rubbed out of the game.

Pushing players in the back towards traffic is no different to getting king hit from behind. It not only in dangerous the player you push but the others as well. In this case he pushed him onto 4 other players. The fact they are not even looking at it is a disgrace

Wankley would be walking him to the plank if roles reversed.

Genuinely think anyone getting worked up about match sim should take the next 3 years off watching because bad losses will be the norm.

It's a full rebuild precisely BECAUSE our 3-6 year players for the most part aren't up to it.
Most kids aren't AFL ready day 1 - give them time.
We will win the spoon this year.
We might win it next year.

Pretty harsh there I reckon sante. He's coming from a long way back, was playing for Tooradin only 3 seasons ago. He has some AFL traits IMO.

VFL standard at ‘best’? He came in via the 2023 mid-season draft and won the VFL B&F in 2023 in just over half a season.

So he’s clearly a cut above VFL standard. He may not make an AFL footballer, I don’t know. But he’s certainly worth persevering with given he’s shown he’s a cut above VFL level.

Agree with this.

Sonesie,Dow,banks,smith,brown,Clarke,green all need to show improvement this year because thus far they haven’t offered much. IMO, wouldn’t be surprised if none from this group made it.

One of kozies best attributes is his marking. 2nd half of last year he showed it. If he brings it consistently he will be solid.

Pray that gibcus can stay on the park. He is hugely important for our future.

He can definitely do it. Just lacks the physicality required sometimes.

Totally agree...first time ever with the velvet glove...both hands push in the back is illegal...and is a type of viscious tunnelling...
Yeah but it's only Richmond so we, the AFL Old Boys Club, are okay with this growing blight on the game...

Was just thinking when all the ACL/injury boys get back it'll be a very new team again. Like new draftees to go with the newer draftees. Very excited about that! When they get consistent game time together. They will surprise a few teams... this year next year, when it clicks look out!
