Tha guy was taller than 182 cm, he was one of the tallest on the day. Probably some guy who they gave 54 to for the day. I saw O'Dwyer play last year and hes only small, look how small he makes Chambers look
lol, im stumped

Some things can't change over a pre season.
Rahilly - still can't kick
Kingsley - no good
Ling - just keeps finding the ball
Gary Ablett - great skills
Q. Is there a forward at the club who when marking inside 50 metres can go back and have a shot for goal with confidence.
A.?

Instead they all look to pass it off because they don't think they can kick it. If an AFL level forward player can't kick the ball 60-70% of the time for a goal inside 50 m they should not be there. Mackie kicked into the man on the mark. Playfair looked great getting the ball then looked like a ten year old with the ball in his hands having a shot. Three or four times you could tell he just did not think he could kick the goal. KIngsley the same. Ottens could be the one but he struggled to get the ball to have a shot.

To the people who were there would you say Nathan was one of the best on the ground? I hope so. Also did Will Slade paly well? I haven't heard him mentioned.

C'MON THE MIGHTY CATS GET IT ON!

Just on a side note from the game, my old man was talking to Jonesy one of the runners and he said that Bewsy would not be running this year, due to the arthritis in his knee. He also mentioned that perhaps Ron Watt would replace Bewsy as runner.

Got to the praco early and got a seat on the fence in the brownlow and was having a chat to D. Johnson, seems like a good bloke and he actually said that they were supposed to go full on but he was already stuffed, heard lingy and chapman say the same thing.

Not in the best, but certainly not in the worst, and Will Slade didnt play.

Yes, DJ is a top bloke..He is actually one of he most disciplined guys at the club in regard to approaching training. However, he has also told me that the majority of the squad is a fair way off peak fitness, as can only be expected at this stage of pre-season. After another intra-club match and the Wizard Cup clash, however, you would expect to see the boys making noticeable improvements in this area. Ultimately, expect to see the boys high flying and raring to go for the round 1 clash against the Tiges.

There is a picture of Bewsy in todays addy of him doing the pole vault at Landy Field, so maybe his knees aren't to bad.

Ok here is my 2 cents worth.
- It is only an intra club so dont get to exited or disappointed.
- Ottens was average, but he will be fine.
- Playfair was very good, has really improved, still can't kick though.
- Ling, Bartel, Kelly, Ablett, Coery, Chapman, D Johnson. will be a great on ball brigade
- Mark Blake, great tap ruckman, needs to improve around the ground.
- Tenace, exiting
- Byrnes, exiting
- Kingsley, jury is out, still cant kick.
- Scarlett, absolutly towled Ottens.
- Harley, beaten by Playfair.
- Sanderson, very solid.
- Kouloriitis, quiet achiever, will be very handy.
- Sheringham, looks a likely prospect
- Lonergan, showed something, could play ones this year.
- Ricco, played well
- Nathan Ablett, showed enough to suggest he will be a player, in 2-3 years.

Good to see such a good turnout.
