Safely returned!!! Pilot took us high then glided into Sydney with spluttering engines. Bounced along the runway and slid it sideways into the terminal slot. No probs.

One day i'll tell you about how I got bumped off my Lima-Santiago flight. Overbooked.
Threw the total itinerary into disarray, as you could imagine. That's how I ended up in Auckland for 3.5hrs, twiddling my thumbs.
Freakin nightmare.

PS. Lima...do not stop there. Transit thru as quick as you can. Shithole.

Less than ten minute train trip to the G which trains come every two min.
At least it's relaxing and you get a beer and feed.
I highly recommend it bc it's great service and convenient.

I usually get off train at burnley and have a few pots at the rising sun.
Depending on time i either do all the pubs up swan st on the way and have 4 pots in each or head off to bridge rd so i can bet in a decent pub with a decent tab at the vine.
Hard to find a good pub in richmond with a good tab..
