Pre-game thread writers wanted!

Hi everyone. As we're about to kick off the 2025 season, I am making the annual plea for posters on this board to sign up to do the weekly pre-game threads. Land of the Giants and I have been sharing the majority of the load for several years, and we'd love some assistance in 2025. Apart from that, it would bring some fresh opinions to the pre-game threads.

Ideally, we'd have two dozen volunteers and everyone would write one preview. Alternatively, if we could yet two or three more posters to sign up for the season, we can reduce the writing load to around one per month.

So, please up in this thread. If you can at least do one or a few, tell me which games you want to do and we can lock you in for those.

Given the air outside today, I'm not writing off any smokeys right now.

Thanks to Orange crush, dlanod, Adam Giant, BarryAglett and of course Land of the Giants for doing game previews this year - the extra hands just gives us a little relief.

If the writers can post their previews by the Sunday evening the week prior, that would be great. If we have a game earlier in the weekend, then earlier would be good too. Monday night is the latest we really need to have them posted.

(Dates from round 17 onwards are not confirmed by VFL House, I've just used the Saturday date as an interim.)
