Townsend was okay in the qualifying and the prelim in '17 and pretty good in the grand final. Graham was very good in the 2017 grand final and heroic in the 2019 prelim playing on with a busted shoulder.

I wouldn't class either one as a champion. Houli was a far, far better player than either of them.

Not into this bull-sheet comparison game of who is...better...when...where...
But on the day Townsend, when it all counted, played a blinder...kicking goals when needed and physically imposed hisself on the oppo...Both Houli and Graham have seniority over Towno...which puts both in front...
But on the day...Towno played a cracker of a game!

Lalor s hammy was a massive red flag for me and when Smillie declared himself the best player in the draft it was clear he was a bit of a FIGJAM

I hope you're joking because if you're not, you come across like a massive turd. Anyone knows you can't make judgements so early into a player's career. You'd have to wait 3 to 5 years before you could say if any selections went bust.

Dusty was the exception to the rule. Lalor fits that bill anyway as his first game was even better than Dusty’s first. Just got to get his body right. Hotton is the same. Smillie was too big to play and we have re- sculpted his body over the last 2 months. He will benefit from this in the long term.

We all know KPP take much longer. Very few come in and dominate.
