Unless he can build a tank and increase his engine to play midfield as well he wont make it as just a foward, The days where just playing hff/fp are finished and at 190cm he needs to be able to rotate through the middle and without pace - He needs yo learn to play inside

He's got it. Don't worry about that.
Intensity? No probs.
his biggest issue is overconfidence at this early stage. That will get smacked out of him soon enough, if not already by missing the final.
Don't mind a bit of arrogance. We have too many unassuming types: Cotch, Griff for instance. Lids and Dusty have a swagger to them. We could do with another.

Swagger maybe but that needs to evolve into really stepping up in big games. Both can go missing at times when they really should be willing themselves on most contests.

Everyone is a bit cranky at the moment. We're in that twilight zone between end of Jan and end of Feb when the preseason comp starts.

But agree some people on here need to chill the **** out

Not going to argue with someone who carries a Gun & Budgie....o_O

Geez looking at today's mic'd up video of Lloyd... Lennon is a specimen. He has grown taller and really filled out. Quite the athlete. Hoping he is building a decent tank but either way, absolute lock for round 1. If Lloyd gets picked ahead of him it's a disaster.
Best part of that vid -

DUSTIN - Is that a microphone?
SAM - Nah, they said I was running too much so they had to give me a bigger GPS

:D

hate them all
Norf just match up perfectly against us to exploit our weaknesses.

3 tall forwards (two of who always play well against us) exploits Chaplin and our third tall back. Chappy gets no help and can't help others while Batch was left one out with Waite too much.

Dominate athletic ruck negates Maric at ruck contests and around the ground.

Plethora of hard inside nuts exposes Cotchin and Miles as our only two genuine inside players. Further killed by Goldstein tapping it down the throats.

Our 7 man defense means we are one short in attack. Hansen thrives as a loose tall and picked off our long bombs constantly. Our poor awarness when going into f50 doesn't work against a team with a dominate tall loose defender.

Our poor to average pressure in attack is exploited by Norf who love to attack from the HB line.

A small, skillful and fast player like Brett Harvey constantly cuts us up.

Overall I'm not sure any team in the league matches up as well against us as Norf. That is further highlighted by the stat they never score below 100 points against us yet we've pretty much held every other team below that threshold in last 2 years.
wish i had $1 every time Norf run the ball from def 50 to Goal against us. they constantly beat us this way

Arsenal; Melbourne City.
That's not exactly a joke, its an insult thrown at us by opposition supporters. I imagine most Tiger supporters don't like that one either.

At least that one is still new and the photoshop work in that thread was genuinely funny.
Their friendship is no joke.

Dunno, but I'd be seriously offended, young Rioli deserves better than that. It's a bit like what the Aussie cricketers do to Nathan Lyon. That kind of bullying really needs to be stamped out.
I doubt very much that it is offensive or bullying just a nickname that is easy to yell during a game

should use that slow gameplan against em like we did against hawks, freo and poort

norf wouldnt know what to do and we'd win by 17 pounts
I didn't mind the slow game plan on occasion but they've got to find a way to kick more goals. Hopefully TV brings his late season form and we have someone that can play that small forward position

We tried to in the final. Turnovers were horrific and they eventually hurt us.

Doesn't mean it's the wrong game plan, but we need to be better at implementing it

I can imagine we will be looking to some of our faster recruits from 2014's draft. Butler, Menadue, Drummond, Short & maybe one or two others that will give us greater attacking speed & hopefully skill?
