Absolutely spot on! I'm not cutting Cotch slack, we have absolutely no campaigner in our midfielders. You watch Hawthorn and see what happens to any player scragging one of their prime movers. This for me is an non negotiable.

Yeah should have mentioned that but he is supposed to have 17 other team mates out there too. Everyone should be watching each other's backs.
But there's a point where players can't keep worrying about giving him help and deviate from what they're meant to do, which in the end can hurt us even more. He needs grind it out and just contribute.

To an extent I agree. But how would you like to go out there every weekend and have someone hanging off you while trying to play footy? Wouldn't be easy physically or mentally I'd imagine
As I said plenty gun players work through it and Cotch is an A grade talent. I don't expect him to absolutely torch a tagger and get 30+ possies, but for him to get 9 in that final is atrocious

The team as a whole needs to be reminded of these sorts of efforts.

A bloke is roughing up your skipper? Put. Him. On. The. Deck. Fly the ******* flag.
Was there live, we pulled away in that game to win by 8 goals after Jackson went and roughed up the Freo mids as they really went at Cotch.
Cotchin ended up with 4 goals too, amazing what physically making your mark can do in a game of footy.

I cant work out why Yarran isn't training in the main group. Can anyone let me know where he is at? is he a chance for round 1?
It does seem very strange.

He should be one of the best performed given his age and the season he had last year.
Gale also said recruit Chris Yarran is set to join the main group within the next few weeks having battled a soft-tissue complaint over the preseason.

Can Dusty still burst away like he used to in the earlier parts of that video?
Needs to lose some weight??
I do agree to some degree but his size/development has helped him maintain his balance and momentum when being dragged from behind. That's why he is rarely successfully tackled.

He still has burst but now he has power and brute strength.

He needs to improve endurance. No one would argue that.
