Went along to have a look this morning and pretty much concure with everything The Sherriff wrote in his report. A couple things stood out to me:

I reckon Tom Phillips & Levi Greenwood were about the only two I didn't spot in some way shape or form.
Kirby did the whole session with the main group. I can't recall at any stage that he joined the group just running laps/doing sprints etc. (This group consisted of Trav Varcoe, Alex fasolo, Darcy Moore, Rupert Wills, Sam McLarty, Sam Murray, Josh Daicos & Max Lynch.)
Pleasing to see a few that have been missing a bit do the whole session, inc Brayden Sier, Daniel Wells (far from fat BTW)
There was a fair bit of match sim going on, including a bit of prep for the AFLX. There were about 8 or 10 a side doing this for a while with players rotating through.
I have been wondering if Adam Oxley is still alive. He appeared later in the session to jog a couple laps. Must be doing a fair bit inside. Jamie Elliott appeared late and wandered over towards AAMI Park with I assume one of the rehab guys. (Scan maybe??)
I wonder if Lynden Dunn may have taken Scharenberg under his wing a bit. He is very vocal anyway but seemed to be giving Shaz a bit of a rev up. Gave hime a light cook for a crap kick at one stage and later during the match sim heard him comment 'Thats it Shaz. First I've heard you all session' Maybe trying to bring him out of his shell a bit??
I hope Adam Treloar can get through the season. He's so dynamic and even at training finds a way to get the ball moving out of stoppages as good as anyone.
Despite looking like he belongs over at the Tennis Centre, Tom Langdon was very impressive imo. Very hard to beat no matter who he played on.
If Josh Daicos 'retired early' in the session, he must have done a Johnny Farnham. Was doing a lot of repeat sprints well into the late stages of the session. Of the 'runners' he probably worked the longest and hardest from what I saw.
If the group stay fit selection is going to be interesting in the early pasrts of the season. A lot of the fringe dwellers like Crocker, Josh Thomas, Broomy, Cal Brown and even Josh Smith all look pretty sharp at this stage.
The skipper looks in great shape. Unimpeded. GeGoey, Maynard, Treloar, Adams, Grundy, Sidebottom, Wells etc make for a pretty good group of mids all going well.
If I had any concerns at all, I haven't actually seen Darcy Moore do much else but run the times I've been. He looks in good nick but if you asked where he's been lining up in the match sim, I couldn't tell you. I haven't seen him play any.
Fas said he's felling really good, but getting sick of running. Hopefully once he's allowed to get into into, he'll be up there for fitness.
I didn't take notes or anything like that, but could probably comment of most if anyone has any other queries.

Maybe I was just happy to see him out there getting amongst it, but he was pretty good. Certainly didn't seem out of place. Much like Wills does, he has a pretty good handball out of traffic. He wasn't as prominent in the match sim as the usual suspects, but what he did was pretty decent.

Thanks. Loving all the reports.

He would have had Surgery or Injured as It sound like he been in the Rehab Group for a month or 2.

What a gem we got when we traded Lynden Dunn in.
I remember being pretty unimpressed when we brought him in. How wrong I was! Is now one of my favourites. Very underrated in the broader AFL also for a guy that rarely gets beat and has a laser guided kick.

Did Cox or Mihocek spend any time training forward?

Cox certainly did. Took a good grab opposed to Dunn at one stage. 50% was able to nudge Dunn under the flight. 50% just too bloody tall for him. Cox's kicking looks very natural to me now. Mihocek mostly back from memory.

Yeah I couldn’t believe when he didn’t get picked for round one. Hopefully they don’t make that mistake again.

They won’t this year. Love what he bring to the team, besides playing abilities.
When his playing days are over, hope they give him a coaching job, be well earned.
