Off topic, but the 2013 prelim is on fox at the moment. Oh the pain. Far out we were a good team there, looked great throughout the second and third with guys like Selwood, Bartel, Johnson, Mackie, Corey etc playing hard skillful footy, and lots of talented young uns contributing including Guthrie, Motlop, vardy, bundy. Caddy, Murdoch.

I was interested in reading on the afl www that Jordan Murdoch finished 3rd in the Sun's 2km time trial.

I hadn't thought he was a great endurance runner so was thinking the Sun's much hyped running preseason wasn't up to scratch still.

How did JM generally do when he was at the Cattery?

Did he beat GHS? I think he came 3rd here one year. (Not bad considering we have Blitz and Menegola).
So if Murdoch beat him he must've improved a lot.

AFL induction? But I think Clarke trained , all other first year players didn't or thereabouts. ( I was keen to see Krueger upright and running but he was absent ).

Nobody outside of the clubs has even heard of the others, so who knows if they could kick or not.

There are definitely some excellent kicks to have come out of Ireland... but just like any player, most Irish rookies don't make it. Who can really say why?

There are a few important things to remember when recruiting. What do you pay, for what you get, as compared to what you need. We felt that we needed depth at the small/medium forward position and he gives us that. We gave up stuff all and he is either good enough to play or he is an experienced player who gives us depth at that position.

But, forget all of that freaking nonsense. HE IS A FREAKING RANGA ON A TEAM THAT HISTORICALLY DOES BETTER WITH A RANGA!! It disgusts me scrolling through the Cats senior list and just seeing brown, brown, brown, blonde, blonde. Not a disgusting fanta pants anywhere to be seen...not now though. I personally welcome our pasty white, freckly new recruit.
