Who's going to the trial against the Lions? Note that it's probably going to be wet (at the very least dewy), so the spectacle won't be very good. Would love some people to report on the youngsters!

Only stating the obvious, but think that shows we contained the opposition pretty well the first third of the season.
Things started to get away from us middle of the year
Last third was a defensive shambles.


Have to prevent these 6+ goal quarters this year.
A bit more forward potency this year and also some midfield help should help us get a few more 4,5 and 6+ goal quarters.

Ace is able to play as he is an international scholarship, don’t think the academy 19yr olds can play unless 6 quarters like McDonald and Portelli last year. Agree some will struggle with the step up. There are at least six players on your list that given their backgrounds are throws at the dartboard. This is ok when there is no injuries but once they come will really test your ability to field a competitive team unfortunately

What? No, we drafted Murtagh, Towey etc.. for a reason. Even this experience against AFL level players will be very useful for them.

There are at least six players on your list that given their backgrounds are throws at the dartboard. This is ok when there is no injuries but once they come will really test your ability to field a competitive team unfortunately

We have easily the best depth in many years. I am pretty comfortable with 33-35 players to play AFL. Even now already missing Balard, Powell, Miles we still can cover comfortably and best 22 look pretty good to me. We got 51 players, after removing your six darts, it's still 45 players - the number of players the other teams have. If we miss all Thompson, Collins, Hombsh yes we may struggle in defence but that would be true for the most teams.
