I'd imagine both Keefe and Buckley will not be ready for pre-season.

Although there was photos of Buckley working out in the gym a few days ago, so he might be a chance.

Was under the impression Buckley is mid season.

Yeah me too.

Injured in July, so given 10-12 months recovery time it's probably a May return at best? I guess he's still in rehab so even if he's ahead of schedule, it'd be a miracle that he'd be ready by the end of pre-season actually.

If Flynn is fit I’d have him in over Preuss.

Preuss and Briggs seems a bit samey to me don't think either offer enough up forward to warrant playing both of them, Flynn to me is the ideal compliment to whoever is the primary ruck if they choose to play two, as he offers more then enough up forward and is better then just a standard pinch hit ruckmen with his craft. For the most part I like everything else, Hill to me I'm iffy on think he sort of has to be in the side due to not a lot of options but I wouldn't cut him too much slack if he's not performing, really liked what I saw from Stone last year at times and would be happy to see him in there over Hill although it's not an exact like for like. When healthy (see how that goes) it's going to be a tough team to pick there's going to be plenty of competition and quality players left out every week.

Hard to say that either way with confidence though. We have not seen Preuss at all. I believe last preseason he was looking the best, hence why I put him in. Happy either way though… I think we will be well placed re rucking options.

I’d have Davis in over Stein today start the season. One would assume with an injury free preseason Davis still has that intercept marking upside

Yeah I thought Davis looked as good as he did all of last year in the final against Geelong with plenty of rest under him and a full preseason I think it's his spot until someone knocks him off.

Absolutely agree Davis will be the first choice when fit.

Looks like great depth, and there will be competition for spots with the injuries last year giving the opportunity for plenty to raise their stocks.
The likes of XOH, Stone, Stein and Buckley and othersreally proved they were up to it.
There will be plenty of opportunities for all those guys throughout the year and the rankings will change.

There will be pressure to perform which can be a good thing.
