Really interesting to see where Lach plays next year. I still think his best footy is at half back (would prefer Bowes in the mid over him) but pretty clear that he's got a midfield spot. Think Dew even played him deep forward before he got his concussion.

I like him as a running half back but he is so poor with defensive accountability that it sort of cancels out any positives he brings.
Personally, I never liked Weller at HB as I don't see him as a great defender and we are well covered in those positions. For me, Weller plays in midfield on the outside. I think Weller is a very good player. He has a good kick including inside 50, has a good speed, makes good decisions.
What pisses me off with Weller is that he is not a leader and when the team struggles he disappears.
I think Weller is definitely most dangerous in the middle. He really complements the rest of our midfield well with his speed and kicking when we have a capable ruckman giving us some sort of service. But his accountability definitely needs to improve there.
Even up on the half-forward I could see him being dangerous. Needs a big pre-season though.

I'd have Weller on the forward flank.
Great kick inside 50. Can go long and get it over the back of the defence.

Rowell has previously noted that he puts on weight really easily, even if it's muscle at the gym. Something he really needs to stay on top of because otherwise he struggles to get around the ground.

Took Touk a while to get the balance right.
I understand if Rowell feels more comfortable bigger for now after his injury troubles.

not sure where else to put this, but vaccination policy announced today. would be interested to know what our vaccine take up is as a club. i know sydney is at 100% first dose at least, but will be interesting to see if there's any that don't comply and lose most of their salary/get sacked.
