Nathan Buckley made a good point in the first quarter that our frenetic game style can be too fast for our own good. It requires absolute precision when moving the ball that quickly and a lot of the time our skills aren't up to it.

Starting to look a bit better in the 2nd quarter. If anything I think we were slightly on top for that quarter.

Leake looking good and I actually think Stone is doing alright too. Needs to clean a few things up but he has the strength, size and speed for the role. I think there's a good chance they're both in the team for OR.

It s practice game and its a long season and a lot can happen.
Lots of teams have started slow and played finals and in the lions case last year had a slow start then won the whole thing.

Absolutely..it’s a preseason game and as long as we have no serious injuries, the players will be better for having a good tough game against a side that will make the finals

Must say it does hurt a bit seeing Nick Haynes playing for Carlton. That said, I’m glad he was able to extend his career with another club. What a champion he was for us.

Not sure how I feel about this game.

It’s easy to say “it’s only pre-season”, and it is. But they have been getting smashed out of the middle.

And we are only missing a couple of players really.
