Whats not to like about Thomas Burton , I think Burton being available at this level may be the main reason we never selected Kellaway as a Rookie.

• Leader Jets captain and also captained at Metro
• Ball Pig averaging 30 poss & 5.6 tackles a game at Coates League
• Speed 5th 2.91 20mtr sprint ( Would make the 3 out of the top 10 in the combine Richmond selects )
• 4th in the vertical jump 74cm

There is a lot to like about this kid and looks to have very high footy IQ and a nice kick
Can see him wearing #41 for Richmond

I like Tom Burton 178cm…. versatile mover and a consummate professional known for his playmaking ability that causes headaches for the opposition.” – Adrian Dixon

A small running defender and midfielder, Burton was named in the Coates Talent League Team of the Year and took out the Jets best and fairest award after an impressive campaign.

He also averaged 15.5 disposals for Vic Metro at the Marsh U-18 National Championships and had 20 possessions for the Marsh AFL National Academy against Richmond back in April.

He also impressed as an under-age player last year, including a 26-disposal game for Team Heppell in the Marsh AFL National Futures game on the MCG on 2024 Grand Final day.

looking forward to seeing 2 of the older players next year. Lynch + balta. Lynch hardly played for 2 years and then had hardly any preseason and then the 5 week holiday. even though he's on his last legs, reckon pride could motivate him for a decent year. at a minimum on field guiding the kids. and balta. reckon his talent is still untapped. just need to settle him in one spot or find the role for him. with his straight line speed and thumping kick he should be a weapon. not judging the incident or punishment, but that must have been a difficult year for him and the team.

Lynch is still only 33, plenty of key forwards play on to 35, so if he can have a decent run of injury free football in 2026, there's every chance he can still be a significant contributor for us while the new talls develop. He's only 6 months older than Jeremy Cameron and 2 years younger than Tex Walker.

Yep. Wasn't even on Eastern Ranges roster at the start of the year. Very much a bolter like Robey where he knocked the door down and was in Ranges best 7 times. Grown 3 cm as well.
