Loved Andy Goodwin.

I'll never forget a practice match played against Fitzroy (pre-season 1990?) at the now RMIT campus in Bundoora (back them it was PIT). Weren't too many at the ground and you could hear the players during play. Andy couldn't help himself. Practice match or not, Andy thought it was go for punch on. He proceeded to belt any opponent in sight. I recall one Fitzroy player saying "hey mate, you're f'king mad!! It's only a practice match!"

Yep, that was Andy Goodwin. You'd go to war with him!

Absolutely. And he hasn't changed. A damn good man.
