Pre Season Draft

Since Meeson's deal is done, this leaves us a Pick 3 available in the PSD. The question is,

1) Who do you think we should or can take at Pick 3?

2) Any uncontracted players out there available?

The latest is Brennan will re-sign with the Lions.

There might be a few players available come PSD day if a few proposed deals do not go through today.

Kepler Bradley, Ricky Dyson, Richard Hadley, Stephen King, Sam Power and Rhys Shaw are names that might become available.

Miller is not going anywhere. He is at Melbourne for at least two more years.

Maybe the Dees can try and score Leigh Brown (aged around 25) or Brad Moran through the preseason draft if he becomes available.

That would be a good pickup if we need more big blokes to try and fill a Key Position. I think Miller will begin to consistently play CHB under Dean Bailey.

Moran was traded this morning to the crows with the pick 37 we gave them.

Richard Cole has been delisted from the bombers, i havn't heard anything about him other than he is a defender thats had some injuries and was taken at #11 initially (i think). is he worth looking at? i know the fact he was delisted from essendon could probably answer that tho

stay right away from Cole delisted from both Collingwood and Essendon. Would prefer anyone else? even gettting back Godfrey...lol

At the moment I would say pass, just use the 5 picks we have in the draft, plus rookie selections. If we decide to cut someone like Warnock or Ferguson it might be better to get a recycled player with pick 3 in the PSD than use draft pick 85, but mainly I'm not interested in recycling players.

getting back to the pre-season draft because we have miller nothing can be done about it now, ill be patient like i said with bailey and if he thinks he can work some magic on miller im all for it

The pre season draft:
i believe we need some sort of expiernce added to our list in some compacity...........brennan of course is the obvious pick up but if he enters the pre-season draft he will definatley go number one, richmond want him and have made no secret about it..............a couple of players from the crows with some expierence that will be available are:
matthew "crusty" bode (brother of our very own jace) who has been injured the past year would be a great pick up if he returned to full fitness, he can play and puts on fantastic foward pressure. would need a medical exam before we consider him though.
jason torney, prehaps a bit old but he showed in the final against hawthorn that he can still play, clever and good disposal off half back

daniel chick i think should very much be looked at.......would be very very valuable to our side playing on the mid-sized leading fowards who have tendered to kill us in the last few years he is my pick if we needed some expiernce in the back line
ashley sampi i am only saying this because he is available but i wouldnt want him, i think moving away from w.a would be even worse for him than what its is now. I can just see it already sampi hitting the grog ala byron pickett style and being banished to sandringham for being out to late or being to out of shape.

But for me if we are looking for expierence it should be chick or IF he is fully recovered and fit matthew bode

williams is still contracted to hawthorn as of now...............master bate as i said i DONT want sampi, the person who started this post was asking who was available........as for chick i know he is old but he would be a great teacher to some of our less expierenced backs and is a true professional in match preperation
