Really nice passage there. Started with Conor Stone dropping back into defence and taking a good interception. Good ball movement into the F50, Stone with a second touch to get it to Jake Riccardi for the goal.

Pre-season. Max opportunity. Reckon the older players will sit down for Qs 5 & 6 and leave the kids to play it out. Our VFL selections will only come on for those last two, for example.

Solid hitout from Giants; defence and run out of defence seemed pretty good throughout. Solid midfield, Riccardi the best of the forwards. Hogan did some good things, HH did his usual game, and Stone showed some good glimpses.

Preuss had a few nice moments in limited time as a contested marker through different parts of the ground, don't think he's first choice as a ruck and definitely not as a forward but good to see he's got that in his bag adds some really quality depth.

Keeffe is a very welcome addition… even if it is depth or injury cover early on.
Riccardi took some pack marks and played his role well.
Cogs is back to his old self.
Preuss was dominant while he was on… watch his ruck work closely… got into position and couldn’t be moved.
Don’t forget Hopper and Taylor didn’t play.
Barring the small forward role… competition for spots is hot.

Just rewatching the last quarters .... Finn runs around the man on the mark and hits up brown ... really smooth
Cogs looks to be be humming and seemed to have a bit more zip than the las year or two
XO has a bit of Zak Bailey about him. Very excited for what he can bring on the wing.
