I was thinking about Gus and was pretty stoked that my magic 8 ball said signs point to yes, but I realised I didn't ask it a question

There was no twisting or hyper-extending so I think we should be pretty confident it's not a serious injury.

It seemed like it happened on impact, possibly a small fracture in his knee or a meniscus would be the worst outcomes?

Pretty happy to that your old man was full of it on this one!

Back running next week, if it responds well and doesn't cause any issues he should still be a pretty solid chance to play round 1 you'd think, you can never say until its tested tho.

Stuff round one unless he is 124% ready to go. As in, feeling 0% effects of the injury even in full steam training. Rather him play 20 games and miss one or two rounds at the start of the season than 'be a chance for round one' and have ongoing problems throughout the season meaning he plays 12 games. Just get it hunky dory then play.

Agree, we have enough depth now not to put pressure on a 2nd year player. Rather give Terlich a game than risk an underdone potential star

Either way it's fantastic news. Would be surprised to see him in the NAB Cup, ease him in through the VFL...

Since toe injury, which is also this year. He was in full training before Xmas.

He was a monty for round 1, but I can see it being round 3 or 4 now.
