Backline - Gov, Barrass,Schofield, Mackenzie (3 max)
Forward line - Kennedy, Darling (2)
Rucks - Naitanui, Lycett, Giles, Vardy, Petrie (2 max)

Resting ruck can play as a third tall and gov can rotate forward depending on matchups / game situation

As others have said anymore than 7 is madness and arguably 7 is one too many

Love Barras but there is a massive chance he has a second year blues kind of year.
in my scenario schofield replaces barrass.
In my scenario Barrass becomes an irresistible force of nature at CHB and doesn't get replaced by anyone for about 300 games. This will cause some selection problems next year but depending on the form of our midfield, Schofield and McKenzie that could force McGovern to CHF, win us a premiership and cause a mini baby boom.

I know you are just goofing around because you have Masten in the team instead of playing for EP. But you also have Priddis twice, Brown is retired, no Gov???, Petrie and Mcinnes? And Shuey on the Bench? Does the c next to Mastens name mean c@#t?

Can't wait for Chris Masten Appreciation Week
We are planning on calling it "Christopher's Ultimate Natural Talent Week". This will enable us to call out and cheer his named appreciation week.

Oh - and acronyms are OK for us to use.

Then in my scenario schofield replaces barrass. It's pretty simple, you play 2 genuine tall defenders, both yeo and sheppard are exceptional above their head for their size. Thats plenty of tall coverage down back. Hurn for the power and kick outs, mitchell for the release and class. Gov becomes a true swingman. If we're against GWS then potentially an extra tall down back, but we need to get it into our thick skulls as a football club 6-7 talls is plenty. Most would say 7 is too many
We need a small defender who can take the likes of Betts. I believe that would be the likes of Wellers or Nelson or Cole so Mitchell probably is a midfielder. And I think we need him in midfield.

The problem is we are prone to getting stuffed up the ass by ground-level contested footy oriented teams. If we want to play Barrass, Mackenzie (or Schofield), McGovern, Kennedy and Darling plus a second ruckman on the field at the same time, then we become far too vulnerable to smaller sides that play a less aerial gameplan.

Especially since a lot of our smalls (Sheppard, Le Cras, Hill, and Yeo to an extent) also play tall.
So in another words, we suck at contested footy. Need better mids.
