Neither is Hill really, and Lecca isn't a good crumber now either.
That makes it all the worse...We finally get a true crumber on the list and the hammy goes ping.
No one else of his type really on the list.
I'm hoping Lecca can find some of that old magic.

Well.. Sheppard doing a hammy would be the worst. Settle.
I beg to differ. With an abundance of defenders we could cover him. With only one small forward I'd go as far as saying Rioli is our 2nd most important player. Now it means Lecca gets a free pass every week

Because it's outlandish and a bit of an insult to Kennedy, Gov, Shuey ect.
Kennedy goes down Darling plays his role, he has in the past and killed it. We also have Petrie as back up. Gov goes we have a B&F winner waiting in the wings. Shuey goes down and we have two brownlow medal winners in our midfield. Rioli goes down and we have to rely on Lecca who isn't a small forward to play his role and have no pressure put on him.

NicNat video of Rioli at gym doesn't look like Rioli is that injured. Might be old or he can still do weights with the injury?
Doesn't look like someone who needs a hamstring operation.

And why would he be in the gym if he did

It's good that we have an informative club who is quick to confirm or refute the news

Oh wait......

Only info was that there were no major injuries. Thank **** for that.
That was second hand info though and nothing from the club

Take a deep breath buddy. We havent played with a genuine crumber for years. It just means the potential to cover a weakness has had a set back. The chances of Willie playing in the first half of the year were slim at best.

Right here and now is absolutely inflaming the issue of the closed intraclub from earlier in the week.

Willie injured himself a couple of days ago, before the intraclub, and they STILL haven't told us anything about the match or the injury

Lucky there's plenty of clouds outside today for you to yell at.

Yeah agree, think everyone just got over excited by the site of a Big Willie.

I can't remember the last time a 3 round draft pick had significant impact, or was even best 22 for the majority of the season in his rookie year.

As a mature aged recruit you'd be better comparing him to some of the Barlow types who came in and had an immediate positive impact for their clubs.

Hopefully Rioli gets back in ten weeks, comes through the WAFL at EP.... injuries happen to Rioli's especially hamstrings. Cyril is managed through every season he has played , West Coast need to do the same with Willie .

Tahir Bayok is a long way off but maybe he could play a crumbing forward role one day ...IF he makes the grade to AFL level.
