A few random observations. With the drills being set out everywhere I did not get a close look at the whole lot but they are certainly working on the endurance side with a solid 40 minutes or so of running before they got into the drills.

Nick Cox is in full training. Was going hard in the tacking and contested drills. He was certainly a bit more vocal compared to previously. Looks in good shape.

Mason Redman looks to have stepped up his leadership.

Parish only did one of the late drills.

Sharp is a serious unit.

Hurley looks 10 years younger now he is clean shaven.

Ridley did most of the session.

Perkins only running but a decent amount of it.

Wright may have got a slight niggle as he stopped training about 3/4 of the way through and spoke to the medical staff for a bit before standing around on the side of the drills. Probably not serious he got no treatment.

Vigo and Blackiston did 20 or so minute ruck work at the end but I was not really close enough to make any in depth comment.

The tackling drill was full contact, but the focus was more about the ball carrier moving the ball on if possible.

One of the kicking warm up drills was three right / three left kicks. To be honest I have never seen us do it before. You would really have to ask why not. It was not just a kick and giggle drill. They had to get the kicks off in a certain time limit, so it was mark kick continuously.

There is another level of precision. Everything in the warmup is driven by time limits. The running early was basically a large square beep run with a time limit to run the 3 sides with a minimal break before running back the other way and then going again.

Did not really focus on trying to see everyone as I was taking photos as well so it was more focusing on the drills that where in front of me.
