You're probably correct.

Personally, I wouldn't be dropping Howe, especially with dodgy Moore returning. Who knows how many minutes he'll last this time? Howe's game against the Bombers was the best he has played in ages.
Yeah but he’s 36, it’s a 5 day break and he’s had soft tissue injuries already this year. Idgaf if he had a career best game, I don’t want us to risk him.

Sorry for the late notice, had to get off somewhere this afternoon.

The boys came out quite later than expected this morning. I reckon it was around 10:30 and only went for an hour. A much shorter session for a main sess - Maybe because of the short break in between games.

MIA:
Reef.. :(
Membrey. I thought he was being managed but I didn't realise at the time he was actually injured

Rehab:
For whatever reason.
Josh D and Harrison spent the entire session (managing load?) away from the group. Doing agility and running. Josh went indoors early but HH finished up the session.

Moore completed the whole session and looked right to go.
Harry D completed his first full session from his injury which was nice to see.

Howe spent most of the session away from the main group also. Was in white. Pendles came out late, but we know he isn't playing.

And for queries on shooter, he was moving fine.

Teams:

Black -

  • Lippa
  • JDG
  • IQ
  • Maynard
  • Elliott
  • Josh D (but away from the group before heading indoors)
  • Schultz
  • Houston
  • Pendles (Not playing)
  • Mcstay
  • Perryman
  • DC
  • Parker
  • Frampton
  • Sidey
  • Crisp
  • Moore
  • Beau
  • Buller
  • Nick D
  • HH (but trained away from the group)
  • Anderson
  • Long

White:

  • Harry D
  • Allan
  • Prindable
  • TJ
  • Smit
  • Steene (changed to the black later on, with Cameron in white)
  • Hill
  • Ryan
  • Cochran
  • West
  • Swadling
  • Sullivan
  • McCarthy
  • Howe
  • Hayes
  • Howes
  • Saxena
  • Steele

You can pretty much guess those in the white that'll play.

They finished up at 11:30, but the brief session revolved around some line work.
Jordy trained with the forwards was probably the take away.

Looks like Howes move down back might be something they are gonna persist with, which is sensible.
