It's great to see Kasey green right up there too!!!

It's incredible to have that many guys over 14.10 - they must all be in such great shape!!

Bit surprising to see Cuzz at #8. I would have thought he'd be higher considering the amount of ground he covers out on the field.
He's over 14.10 - he'll be fine!!!!

This is going to be controversial but you have to remember that a couple of the guys ahead of him (eg Chambers, Judd) are basically athletes who can play very good footy. Cousins is a pure born and bred footballer.

Interesting distinction, and one which, when you consider Cousins' background, makes a fair bit of sense. The only thing I will say, is that I actually rate Judd higher than Kerr, Cousins, and anyone else in our side in terms of what they *could* achieve. Judd has the physical tools, the temperament and the skills to be one of the true greats of all time, if he fully realises his potential.

As long as you don't go and use that p word.

Every time a player is labelled a POTENTIAL champion I just about do my block.

I think you are pretty close to the mark Mead, Judd seems to have the right combination of athlete and footballer, much in the same way as Kouta does (although a very different type of player).

It is a bit strange. Cousins seems to just keep on going, that's why he is linked with the Energizer Bunny. You see a lot of guys get breaks on the bench, but Cuz only ever rests in the forward pocket. Very rarely does he go to the bench.

I think we should be very happy with Cousins being in 8th seen as the 7 guys ahead of him must be bloody fit!!

Geez that is a huge call. Cousins is a champion, he isnt even in his prime yet and is always among the leaders on Brownlow night and is 4 time AA. Kerr will be all of the above.

So Judd will have to be the greatest footballer of all time. Sounds good to me :D

Brownlows are easier to come by for the players who stand out, and Judd already stands out at a very young age. While Cousins gets a lot of the ball he doesnt exactly make you get out of your seat going WOW like Judd does so often. Judd catches your eye, and this will go in his favor.

Mike Tyson maybe?

Or even worse - Anthony Mundine....

The difference between Ackermanis and Mundine, is the public can regularly sates desire to see 'The Man' Mundine punched in the face. With Acka, there's no similar outlet.

I realise its a pretty out there statement, but I think its true. Think back to how Cousins looked when he was a younger player. Decent, nice skills, but not clearly a superstar in the making- it was only the last few years where his character was really evident. It took him 2-3 years before he really hit his stride. Kerr? Well, he's still a work in progress, but whilst his first year was outstanding, I wouldn't call it flashy- just a gutsy, gritty rookie with a lot of self confidence and ok skills. He's had more of an impact in 2002, but Kerr strikes me as the guy who does a lot of the unnoticed hard work, which could hurt his brownlow chances.

Judd, meanwhile, was scary from day one. In his first game, not to mention the entire first season, he showcased terrifying athleticism, lightning skills, superb attack on goal, and as that continues,he's going to get noticed. *IF* he improves over the next few years as much as you would expect from most rookies, he will be a world beater. I've been wrong before, but I honestly believe Judd has the potential to be the greatest player to ever pull on the blue and gold, simple as that. We HAVE to sign him at the end of this year.

Big call there Mead. I agree if a WC player wins the Brownlow, it won't be Cousins or Kerr, but Judd. He is an eye catcher.

Kerr IMO doesnt go unnoticed. Mr Unnoticed was Dean Kemp but I think Kerr shines when he plays. Judd no doubt will be an awesome football player but I'm not sold on him becoming the best WCE of all time. He would have to veeeeery good to claim that honour.

As for Brownlows....doesnt really bother me, Cousins, Kerr or Judd. Hell all three :D Should be an interesting season with Cousins continuing on as per usual but with Kerr in his third year and Judd in the ever dangerous second year. Let's hope all three can fire!
