I think we are sitting at the maximum ideal number of rucks on our list now, and would not be unhappy if we don't immediately replace Sandilands one day in a distant future. Lobb, while not a great ruck, changes everything.

Would love us to take Carter as a Cat B but don't see us doing that. Although (as Paracleet said earlier) passing at #65 (if we are allowed to match a bid still) and then taking Carter as Cat B plus 2 rookie picks instead of one sounds good to me.

Other names I'm thinking we might look at: anyone in the top ~20 prospects who slides to our 2nd pick (or if Hill is taken before our 1st pick), Tom McKenzie, Jack Ross, Tom Sparrow, Marlion Pickett

Yeah I was assuming we'd make a play for #28. There will almost certainly be a bid for Briggs before that pick so they'll lose it anyway.

I was looking yesterday at our 2nds/3rds - our 34 and 41, for GWS' 28 and 47 is pretty much a break-even trade in terms of points. They have taken 3 players already, so they might be up for it. AND it gives us a second pick before the weags gets theirs.

The other possibility would be our 34 and 41 for Melbourne's 26 and 49, but given 26 will be Melbourne's first pick, I can't see them being keen.
