Since the top 8 predictions have been done to death, lets have some new predictions for 2001.

It's time to look into the crystal ball and predict the off field news in 2001

ie - first coach to go, club dramas, suspenisions, injuries etc

here goes

1.John Elliott to be given his marching orders mid season, Carlton after a dreadful start to the year start winning games but miss the finals.

2. Matthew lloyd severley injures his knee taking a big mark over Mick Martyn in round 1, but makes a remarkable comeback in the first week of the finals.

3. Channel Seven to pull the plug and not show any Grand Final pre-game entertainment in protest to the AFL's decision to change to channel 9. (is that really a bad thing though) The game however is the best in 12 years with more than 5 million viewers making it the most watched program in the History of television

4. Malcolm Blight causes a stir when he tells the StKilda players there will be no training this week after a disasterous loss mid year, saying he couldn't bare the site of them for a week.

5. A Collingwood supporter jumps off the Great Southern Stand after another tragic display from his team, amazingly he survives and is back next week for more punishment

6. Ben Graham is mobbed by screaming Geelong fans after he kicks a goal from behind the centre circle after the siren in round 4 to give Geelong a 3 point win over North Melbourne at Kardinia Park. Kardinia Park also gets a new name - Alcoa Arena - you heard it here first

7. A riot arrupts on ANZAC day when Essendon supporters publicly berate Collingwoods inept display, Collingwood supporters are not amused and the riot spills onto the tram tracks nearby, causing major delays for commuters

8. Garry Ayres gets the sack after only 6 games with the Crows looking to rebuild straight away. Neil Kerley is a surprise apllicant for the vacant job.

9. Wayne Jackson's wig falls off during a media conference causing much mirth among reporters - The photos are then widely published causing Wayne to seek the help of Greg Matthews and Advanced Hair Studios.

10. Kevin Sheedy to actually come face-to-face with a martian.

any others????

Biggest drama of 2001

Rd 4 at Shell Stadium.
Leigh Coldbutt is named in the North side but the Geelong supporters see him entering the ground.
They kidnap him and dangle him off the roof of the Hickey Stand .

Geez you can only hope it comes true

Round 11, Night match (not sure who is playing)

A stripper (streaker) FINALLY runs onto the ground and gives the players a quick **** whilst her wobbily breasts are dangling like the ones on that pr0n site i saw yesterday.....am i going on too much?

1.) Prediction - Dan24 to streak onto the MCG after losing a much publicised bigfooty bet. With Essendon seemingly unbeatable with a 15-0 record, Dan claims they will make up for last years disaster against the Bulldogs and win every game. A one-point loss to the Kangaroos in Round 16, causes Dan to run naked over the MCG in Round 18 against Carlton to live up to the bet. He spends a week in jail, and sees his bigfooty postings record overtaken by Mags, causing Dan to never visit bigfooty again due to the overwhelming embarassment.

Geelong4eva to be announced as the surprise president of Geelong, after the resignment of Frank Costa.

When voting for the new president, Geelong members are swayed by the humour and antics of Geelong4eva, and think his prescense will be good for the laid-back city of Sleepy-hollow.

After the appointment, Geelong go on a 10 game winning streak, before losing the Grand Final by 10 goals, in a typical inept end-of-season performance. Geelong4eva resigns, citing persoanl reasons. John Elliot take over the Cats for 2002.

Dodongo has more information to be added on. Dodongo thinks that streaker will be someone that use these boards and lies all the time. Dodongo doesn't want to see that. Dodongo doesn't want to lose his eyesight. Dare Dodongo go on?
DODONGO HAS SPOKEN

Magpie Joffa to be announced as the CEO of the demolition company that will be responsible for the demolition of the Members pavilion at the MCG. Joffa changes his traditional stance on everything and begins barracking for Carlton as he is sick of supporting losers.

When quizzed about his lack of loyalty, he simply responds : "Stiff shit. I'm sick of their crap. I want a flag"

90% of Magpie supporters follow the famous Joffa's lead and change allegiances, causing a dramatic drop of in Collingwoods suporter base. The Pies move all home games to Sydney in a bid to widen their tiny supporter base. The move causes criticism from the Swans who want the Pies off their paddock.

The Collingwood home game against the Blues in Sydney in Round 6 is a spiteful affair, with Eddie McGuire running onto the ground and stopping a certain Magpies goal, which would have won them the game. McGuire is in league with Joffa, and the three of them share a three-way hug with John Elliot as the Blues get home by 4 points. Joffa and McGuire are appointed to the Carlton board.

Collingwood, with no supporters, president, money, or any good players, finish last and cannot meet their debts for 2002. The club folds.

A giant party is held in Melbourne that night to celebrate their demise. It's bigger than the Millennium party.

(Carlton lose the Preliminary Final to Essendon as the Bombers win flag number 17 against the Cats)

I hope you're there every week. Seeing Collingwod supporters actually there when they get thrashed is even more satisfying.

Although, there is really only Essendon and Non-Essendon these days. Collingwod have become so "normal" that they are just one of the 15 Non-Essendon teams that is trying to catch up to the greatest AFL club in history (16 flags, most supporters etc etc etc)....that being the mighty Bombers.

Bitter what! - Yeah, Cats fans must be really bitter that a special person left to go to a club in a much better financial position and to play for a premiership team.

In Joffa's words - HA,HA,HA,HA and HAHAHAHA and if you don't know the real story about the knee then you can wait and see. Shit, hey, a Geelong player being palmed off to North after their used by date for a shit load of money instead of the other way around, causing hatred amongst their own and a bitterness amongst the most worthy of crews.

The boos for the sweety is because he is using a young Olympic runner to enhance his profile as the nice guy, I would suggest his narcissism has done the Cats a great favour.

Watch and wait Shinners!
