-Eddie Mcguire gives in and begs Pratt for mercy
-Blackwell, Bentick and Russel struggle for game time.
-Aisake shows a lot of potential as a ruckman
-Gregg Swann is knighted by the queen:rolleyes:
-Blues finish 9-11

Your predictions for the blues in 08?

Geez, you built me right up until you just suddenly finished with "Blues finish 9-11".
I'm going to take a step forward and say that we'll be in the finals. Honestly, I've been saying it since we beat Port mid-season. Before we tanked the last 11 games to snatch 2 picks in the top 3 and before I could even imagine Judd in a blue guernsey. Seriously, the way the draft system is, any team who has spent time down the bottom usually plays finals again in a few years... and then there's Judd.

I seriously think we will end up 6-8 this year

all of our younger players like - murphy, gibbs, walker, waite, fisher, anderson, bentick, bannister etc will become more consistant

I reckon we could surprise early in the year and pull a few wins from nowhere befor tailing off at the end.Other clubs still have low expectations of our team, and will be pouring much of their focus on Judd, meaning other blokes like Murphy, Walker even Stevens will be able to sneak under the radar a fair bit. Defence will still be streched but we should be in the hunt for the eight up until around round 15 or 16 at least.

I realistically think we will end up with around eight or nine wins. Hopefully we see an increase in percentage/elimmination of blowout losses next year at the absolute least.

i think we can expect to beat thes teams
Richmond once
essendon twice
melbourne once
adelaide Once
Sydney Once
brisbane once
PLus maybe 2-3 surprise wins
thats about 10 wins
i hope we can finish teams off next year. eg if were 20 points up at 3 quarter kick the first 3 or 4
we failed to do this last year eg: collingwood
i hope we can beat essendon by over 50
