I didn't get the tickets for the richmond game, my son got them.
He couldn't see where you can nominate a category for the seats.
Did anyone choose a category ?
Yes, use the web browser and don't necessarily take the 1st tickets offered as you are likely to find others best suited to your preference if you keep trying.

Thanks,
so through the Lions site or Ticketmaster on a pc/ lap top.
I would go in through the email you will get from the club for priority tickets it will have a link.
Much faster than through the Ticketmaster website I have found.
Even although that link sends you to ticket master anyway.

Im probably the only person who still loves him. Honestly everyone else can get ducked as far as I'm concerned. I hope he gets a flag. As long as it doesn't cost our team one. But I'd be stoked if him, maysey and crazy vossy to get it.

I will always like Rocky. He was here in bad times and never stopped trying. The guy deserves success as long as its not our expense. He also showed respect to the Fitzroy part of the merger.

Probably thrusted into a leadership position he wasn't ready for

How so? I thought his defensive work and blocking was superb. Had he added those two goals he'd have pushed BOG. His misses were very disappointing though, especially the second when he had Mcstay free in the goal square.
Have to agree with Nunez here. Lyons was our third highest ranked player and he deserved to be. His work in close and on the deck was excellent. He gives us enormous drive under pressure. In those “clutch moments” he always seems to be involved.

2nd Quarter —> Lyons off half back, perfectly weighted kick to Hipwood to Rayner—> GOAL!

4th Quarter —> Robinson hacks it forward along the ground —> Lyons clean hands, picks up —> handball to McCluggage —> GOAL!

Did you watch the port game.
After the siren , Vossy went up to Rocky with a big smile gave him a hug and said something like how good was that.
Was good to see .

Happy for them both. I have no doubt if Lions are in the GF and Port are not they will cheering as hard as any of us for a Lions win.

I really hope Geelong win this Saturday.

I don't think my nerves could handle a strong possibility of losing a home prelim against the scum then having them play off Port Adelaide at a Gabba GF

Going to be a mad rush for tickets to the PF (the peoples final). Fortunately ours come with the season passes. Hopefully the atmosphere can be just as it was on Saturday night! Go Lions!!

Very amusing reading Victorian teams complaining about this year and the armchair ride.

On one hand, they are adamant that the MCG is not a true home ground advantage as many other teams share the ground throughout the year, with regard to the Grand Final.

But as soon as you raise the topic of the Gabba having the same scenarios and players accustomed to playing there as both home & away teams, they resort to the next available excuse of "sleeping in own beds".

Haha..... repetitive and tiresome conversation with a lot my friends of Vic Clubs as well. In the end I ask them how long do you need to sleep in a bed before it becomes like your own bed? Most of these interstate teams have been up here for months.
Another complaint is that the Gabba is only a small ground when in fact its the same width as the MCG & only 5 metres shorter....again not really a legitimate criticism.

One explanation I got from the Richmond board is that a true home advantage is when the home team has the largest crowd cause their cheering lifts the home team. So when Victoria teams play each other at the mcg the crowds are even therefore the home team doesn’t have an advantage. So desperate for excuses

It also means over the past decade or so Richmond, Collingwood .etc ..... have already had Gabba home advantage cause they outnumbered us on many occasions.

There is a great article on Stef Martin in today's Australian newspaper. I do not know how to put it up and I assume the wall stops viewing of it from a link. Could someone put it up for all to read?

The writing on footy in The Australian has improved this year.

I've been wondering just how disappointed I'd be if we lose this.

Top 4 is still a great achievement and we have a lot of improvement left in us but I genuinely think we're a top 2 team.

The Richmond win was a big confidence booster but we had a few things go our way and had they been reversed it might have been a different result

I will be devastated. We are good enough to beat whoever our opposition will be. The GF is different game so will wait & see after the prelim.
