So? I was a very average surburban player and played through injury each week and put my body on the line. That was what was expected of me. Of course he gave 100% at Crows but a different club and different people can bring out the best in someone. Danger is a better player at Geelong than Adelaide. Doesnt mean he tries any harder, just his environment is better.
I don't think he is a better player than he was for the Crows. He won games off his own boot with us, and tried to will us over the line in others like few players do. I would just think that he is a slightly better fit next to the other mids in the Geelong midfield. Thompson, Crouch, Crouch, Sloane next to Danger was to inside for him, and us.

Find it amusing Cats fans not rating Josh Caddy. As a dogs fan, always played well when I saw him. Easily the cats best midfielder behind champions Selwood and Danger. Will be be great at the tigers, along with Prestia. Cotchin, Martin, Caddy, Prestia is more than competitive against anyone. Tigers just need a few more step up.
As a Cat fan, I think to "not rate" Caddy is a bit churlish. He is a good footballer...hard at it, and gives pretty much 100%. He isn't a "star player" by any means, but he will be serviceable most weeks and may even put in a couple of excellent performances.

He wasn't getting much of a run in the midfield with Geelong once Menegola and Scott Selwood stepped up to the plate. Duncan is a better player without a shadow of a doubt, and Lang (and perhaps Motlop) will graduate to the midfield this season for Geelong..

Overall, I don't think Tiger fans will regret having him in their midfield...he'll do a good job for them.

He's never advocated replacing Scott with Hardwick.....but he thinks Hardwick is a good coach.

And he thinks Scott isn't.

..apart from that, I'll let him speak to that subject himself.

I wish you the best of luck.......

This might come in handy....

Bullshit. Guthrie, Mengola, S.Selwood were no where near as consistent as Caddy. And if you are talking about agility and elusiveness, Scott Selwood is nowhere near the footballer of Caddy. He is as slow as wet week and not a threat to anyone. Of course Danger and Selwood are in a league of their own, they are superstars. But Caddy is twice as good as the other players you mentioned. Thety havent done anything.
Read my post again slowly and you might consume it better next time. Everything stated is fact.

You're actually bang on here, Geelong gave away a mid in Caddy that averaged over 20 possies and a goal a game for pick 24, yet we keep Blicavs as a mid who averaged 17 possies a game, hardly kicked a goal, and now can't even be useful as a third man up ruckman - Welcome to the GFC of 2017, a club that was once respected, now a complete joke!

It's true aside from a few bursts in the forward line, the Crows we're absolutely hopeless at capitalising on Danger's outside qualities. I feel the Cats have found a better balance there.

Caddy better than Guthrie? No.
Caddy a consistent player? No.
Then you named two other blokes who have maybe played ten games for us.

Caddy ain't a pinch on Guthrie. Menengola stole his spot and caddy couldn't win it back, that is where caddy was at. Oh and if you think Scott Selwood is slow, you haven't watched too much of caddy then.
Caddy is an ok player, but very replaceable

It's often the case that a player moves teams and the media all of a sudden think he has improved dramatically when realistically his output is similar
