5 Joel Selwood - apart from the will and effort he shows, he just uses it so well
4 Patrick Dangerfield - cannot fault his attack on the ball and intent. his disposal lets him down too often

3 Tom Lonergan - had his hands full with a rampaging Franklin, but never dropped his head and took some great marks.
2 Cam Guthrie - no break-away runs, but quick hands in tight at times. not our worst
1 Jimmy Bartel - think long and hard about 2017 Jim. great 2nd quarter and that goal was textbook

HM Jed Bews; two posters, three shots on goal, hit the contests hard and didn't make any glaring stuff ups.

Looked pretty switched on and fired up. Can't recall a previous game where he's hit the contests as hard.
