If you're talking about your membership card - yes, you very definitely need to take it. They will not hand over the tickets without it, and they need to punch out the relevant finals week number on the card.Southerntakeover said:I ordered my tickets over the internet.
Out of interest, as ive never done this for finals tickets before, do you need the finals card when you go to pick your tickets up?
RogerRabbit69 said:What do you mean by "finals card"? You'll need your season tickets when you collect your tickets, as well as the credit card you used to book them with.
RogerRabbit69 said:I would assume that for each ticket booked between now and Saturday, you'll need a season/members ticket ... otherwise any season ticket-holder could go ahead and book as many tickets as they like (regardless of how many season tickets they have) then just wait until Saturday to pick them up.
Hmmm, I hate to say it, you may have a problem. For the QF last week, I picked up my tickets quite late in the week and I was asked to produce the membership(s).Southerntakeover said:That was my assumption too, but im hoping that the foolish Bass workers wont work it out.
Oh well, wont hurt me i guess, i got mines.

Last week we got both my kids student cards from them, one actually paid full price to travel on public transport as he is facing a $140 fine if he doesn't have his student card on him, and when we went to BASS to get tickets didn't need the student cards as they said you just have to show them at the gate when going through the turnstiles.
Today, we couldn't buy tickets for the kids, unless we paid full price, because we didn't bother with their cards due to the previous week's experience. But this week we had to produce them at point of sale and, as my son is in the country on work experience this week, we cannot get them until next week.
So we booked them online and will have to make another trip to BASS with the cards. Don't the powers that be realise that if students are using public transport they need their student cards. But more to the point, why one rule last week and another this week?
