So in other words- Now we have ****ed Freo and NM's chances we will try not to cheat either Hawthorn or West Coke(who the AFL told us they wanted) out of a flag... Awesome.

Asked if the late-season environment becomes "irrational" Campbell agreed instantly. "I would have thought so. That's the easiest question you've asked," he said.
"When commentators are calling decisions 'horrific' and then 10 seconds later a player makes an equally I would say 'bad' decision and it's called 'interesting', I think there's too great a disparity in the commentary," Campbell said.
Campbell admitted that two of the controversial decisions that went against North Melbourne were wrong, but that at least one off-the-ball free paid to Hawthorn was right. Asked whether the slight hold made by Nick Dal Santo on Eagle Luke Shuey should have been paid to the home side, Campbell replied " don't think so, no." He added that North tagger Ben Jacobs should have received a free in the final term after having his legs taken from under him. "Yes ... we review everything today ... that's my view on it but we'll let the coaches decide."
Questioned about the contentious calls in the previous night's Hawthorn win over Fremantle, Campbell said he wasn't yet sure about the correctness of the off-the-ball decision paid in Hawk Isaac Smith's favour for contact made by Docker Hayden Ballantyne. "We're still yet to go through that one but the questions that will be asked are 'was it forceful enough? If it's not a free kick does that mean that when someone's not facing you you can knock them over?'"
Another off-the-ball free paid to Hawthorn skipper Luke Hodge was right to be paid though. "The Hodge one was a free kick. I saw that on the night, he got him high."
Assessing the weekend as a whole, Campbell acknowledged that there had been issues, but said he had not felt any pressure from AFL chief Gillon McLachlan or football operations boss Mark Evans.
"We were OK. It wasn't our best performance I wouldn't have thought, but our job now is to make sure we get the grand final performance to the best possible standard that we can.
"We need to pick three umpires plus an emergency who will go out and do the job, be unobtrusive, allow the players to shine.
"We made some errors on the weekend, obviously we don't set out to make errors. It's as hostile an environment I've ever seen a game played under. That doesn't make any excuses."

The bloke is an ex Ninthmond squib of the highest order and anything that comes from his mouth is drivel.I'm awarding wayne and honorary *. he has the same delusional tendencies of an *essendon supporter, if he thinks the umps "were okay".
*wayne *campbell.
And how does he justify that unbelievable comment about the differing comments made about bad decisions of umpires versus bad decisions by players?Pure b******.
"Yes ... we review everything today ... that's my view on it but we'll let the coaches decide."
The coaches of the field, boundary and goal umpires will meet and select those they think are best equipped to perform on the day? What the hell does that even mean?
Ex-wife..:Why would they hate one of their own
The only way Margetts should see WCE games is by using his membership to get in(sure his sister could get him great seats)
Watching the TAC cup yesterday the umpiring was awesome from what I saw, it was like a trip back to the 90s when you had to get coathangered to get a free kick. They let everything pretty much go and it was one on one contests around the ground. I hardly noticed the umpires

AFL finals 2015: Wayne Campbell admits umpires made ‘some errors’ in preliminary finals

“(The weekend) wasn’t our best performance I wouldn’t have thought,” Campbell said at a breakfast on Monday morning, also saying that Kangaroos tagger Ben Jacobs should have earned a free kick in the final quarter that was missed.
“We were OK.”

He is refusing to make excuses for the substandard performance, but said preliminary final week does throw up an incredibly hostile environment for players and umpires alike.
“We made some errors on the weekend, obviously we don’t set out to make errors,” Campbell said.
“It’s as hostile an environment I’ve ever seen a game played under. That doesn’t make any excuses.”
The league is set to announce who will oversee Saturday’s Grand Final on Tuesday, and Campbell said ensuring the players have the spotlight on football’s biggest day is a priority.
“Our job now is to make sure we get the Grand Final performance to the best possible standard that we can,” he said.
“We need to pick three umpires plus an emergency who will go out and do the job, be unobtrusive, allow the players to shine.”
Piss off these delusional WC posters coming on here and claiming they had it bad too and it didn't affect the outcome..Umpiring was bad. Didnt affect the outcome. Plenty went against us too.
well done on a top year. Building towards a tilt. See you this time in 2016?
Let yourself think that. West Coast were on the ropes before Dumb, Dumber and Dumberer stepped in and put their stamp on the game.Umpiring was bad. Didnt affect the outcome. Plenty went against us too.

TLDR. Cut both ways, better team won. I know it hurts but that's footyLet yourself think that. West Coast were on the ropes before Dumb, Dumber and Dumberer stepped in and put their stamp on the game.
Let me guess you are bleating about the Kennedy holdSo you copped one bad one due to a bloke staging. We copped 5 absolute disgraceful howlers that no umpire in their right mind should pay. In fact an umpire at park level would have got these ones correct they were that blatant or not there.
1. Shuey free kick, even the umpires boss admits that was a massive blunder (result goal)
2. Waite non-mark for Sinclair being a gumby who can't hold his feet (result no F50 entry and I not 100% but I think the ball went forward to Kennedy and goal)
3. Swallow tackled and thrown to the ground on the mark (just laughable really, especially since the umpire seemed to have a go at him for questioning why the kick shouldn't be reversed).
4. LeCras tackled definitely holding the ball, but a ghost touched Darling so free kick (result goal).
5. Jacobs tripped in front of goal and then to top it off paid holding the ball (gimme goal goes begging).
They are 5 of the worst decisions you will ever see on a football field and all in favour of West Coast and you want to bitch about a jumper tug?
Just **** off back to your board in the knowledge that you didn't earn your Grand Final berth, you were gifted it. That result will always be a question mark, West Coast may have won, but due to utter incompetence they will never truly know if they were good enough to win on their own merits.
Bullshit isn't..So if the crowd is noisy the umpires are just allowed to be ineffective. And we are just meant to cop that.
It only hurts because we weren't given the opportunity to beat you fairly and squarely, and no the better team did not win, the team that was gifted the game won.TLDR. Cut both ways, better team won. I know it hurts but that's footy
Not what most would believe...TLDR. Cut both ways, better team won. I know it hurts but that's footy
I'm sorry you feel that way. North had a great year, but so did we. See you next yearIt only hurts because we weren't given the opportunity to beat you fairly and squarely, and no the better team did not win, the team that was gifted the game won.
The fact that you morons even come on here to defend the umpiring, shows that you know you didn't win that game on merit and will question if you were really deserved of a spot in the big dance? If those 5 decisions I mentioned are in North's favour you lose, plain and simple. Not only did they gift goals and halt momentum, but the players were visible in disbelief at the incompetence they were being subjected to. In fact they did a great job to hold it together since they were being royally bent over.
If you truly thought that victory was earned then you wouldn't even be on here trying to defend it, I know I wouldn't.
Well I think most of the footy world other than West Coast supporters is hoping that you get the pumping you deserve. It would be even nicer if that pumping is due to some dodgy umpiring.
I waiting for you to rebut with the harsh decisions that went against you, but I think I will be waiting a long time as the whole footy world knows you were given an armchair ride, with the overwhelming majority of bad decisions in West Coasts favour.TLDR. Cut both ways, better team won. I know it hurts but that's footy
