Ebola (Ebola Virus Disease)
Signs and Symptoms

Symptoms of Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) include:

  • Fever
  • Severe headache
  • Muscle pain
  • Weakness
  • Fatigue
  • Diarrhea
  • Vomiting
  • Abdominal (stomach) pain
  • Unexplained hemorrhage (bleeding or bruising)
Symptoms may appear anywhere from 2 to 21 days after contact with the virus, with an average of 8 to 10 days. Many common illnesses can have these same symptoms, including influenza (flu) or malaria.

EVD is a rare but severe and often deadly disease. Recovery from EVD depends on good supportive clinical care and the patient’s immune response. Studies show that survivors of Ebola virus infection have antibodies (molecules that are made by the immune system to label invading pathogens for destruction) that can be detected in the blood up to 10 years after recovery.

Line into -14.5 now..usually moves before head to head..hope there's nothing to the rumours but where there's smoke...if it's true, hopefully only Astbury.

There wouldnt be a midfielder in the remaining finals teams who wouldnt be carrying some form of injury. The media have just been Dusty obsessed because he is who he is and gets scrutinised more than most.

Adrenalin is a wonderful thing and once the game starts and the crowd roars every player will soon forget their injuries and lift to the level they need to in order to get their team across the line.

Sidebottom, Pendlebury, Treloar and Adams are going to get a bit of the football. That's a given. As long as they don't facilitate it getting out to their runners or quicker players where they have any space (i.e. Phillips, Hoskin Elloitt, Stephenson and De Goey and Thomas up forward), then hopefully we'll be ok.

That Pie backline of Goldsack, Langdon, Maynard, Howe and co. doesnt look that imposing on paper so hopefully we get some results from our forward entries.
