Omitting Wood for Waite would be a massive backward step imo. Wood might not have been great last night, but he's a huge part of our future and needs a run of games. Waite is a gun now, obviously, but has little role in our future. Play them both to take a little pressure off Wood and give him a lesser defender.

Preuss must play, Goldy had ice pack on his ankle after the game, and double teaming Jacobs, who is giving their mids plenty of ball seems like a no brainer to me. (Josh Jenkins sore ribs don't like this change )

I know where you're coming from. I was a bit disappointed in Wood last night. But, jeez, give the guy a break. He deserves another go. If he doesn't play every game for the rest of the season, I think the team (and Mason, which would be a major disappointment) will have taken a step back - injuries excepted.

Yeah mason hasn't been great in his two games but we just need to keep playing him. Waite in for a rested Simpkin makes most sense to me.

Good question. It's a good problem to have, I suppose. I'm inclined to go with Waite, Wood and Browne and drop one of our smalls- maybe Simpkin (he's been good, though). Lachie's good form has put pressure on the rest of our talls.

Exactly you can't just drop younger guys after a few games just because they didn't perform as well as expected.
We have carried blokes for months on end in the past that underperformed (I'm looking at you drew wet toast eagles Petrie) and yet people want to drop talented young guys in preference to bring in an older guy with a crook hip or a guy who has stunk it up 5 weeks running and plays 1 game well in the "VFL"..
Give the kids a break as it's the only way they are going to get experience, some of you lot are like a bunch of employers expecting to employ a 17yr old with 5yrs of on the job experience....

Ats has had 140 games, Dumont 25odd. I think ill give Froggy the benefit of the doubt over Ats.

I thought Turners game was pretty good. Another that needs games into him to improve...

5/6 goals were cheappies, but happy with how he is going. But seems to be lacking clean hands and two way running from most reports. Happy to have him in the team but Mountford is ahead at this stage.
