Fielders looking the goods, St Bede's in more shit than a Carrum Downs duck….
Tom Brain, the new President at St Bede's, what a joke!!!!!!!!! bahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!

The Baiting Shark returns in 2012, except aren't you still in B Grade?

The Fields will be solid with no major recruits for 2012. Saying that they haven't lost anyone of great note either. They will be relying on the developing young group that has jumped 2 grades in the same number of years.

trinity and the fields to farewell back to b grade this year

early early days i know but just wanna get some banter happening

I think Caulfield will be competitive, but believing this is the best competition outside of the VFL, it will not be easy and considering this is our first trip to the big show in a long time I could understand the doubters.

I would definately through St Bernards in the mix and there are some questions about St Bede/Mentone. Old Scotch will finish 8th so they should be safe!

snowdogs have retained all 22 of their grand final side and have some handy inclusions plus some extremely good youngsters coming across so i expect them to be safe...but who knows.

agree about bedes

an interesting year ahead!

The big question is how good is the top of B Grade relative to the bottom half of A. Bernies have some quality talls, previous A Grade experience and some good juniors so I agree they will be plenty competitive. Depth is often important and both Caulfield and St Bernards were solid in the Reserves as well. A good start for any side that isn't up to challenging for the flag is important.

Re: Old Scotch Rd 1

Was up at the Elgin last week and over heard a few Old Scotch boys talking. They were talking about how they would make the finals this year as they would be the fittest side in the comp.

I couldnt believe how open they were about their conversation. They were saying that their Full Foward was going to Dominate this year.

There was a group of them and they were giving to Dela and as they said,Dela wont know what will hit them come RD 1,after smashing them last year.

I thought they were a little bit arrogant.

I'm not sure if being the fittest club has a direct correlation to making the four! They might be getting a fair bit ahead of themselves there. You still need to have the right cattle out on the park.

As for dominating full forwards, i'm sure Trinity can give them a lesson or two on how having a dominant full forward does not translate into success at the top level. Haileybury experienced a bit of that themselves last year with Ridgway and Voss dominant up forward.

Tom Brain is a fine VAFA servant over the last 30 years. People like him are a rare breed and for you to slag off at him I think shows a total lack of understanding of the foundations that VAFA clubs are built on with people like him.
In fact Seamus Mc Gettigan is chairman of the board at St Bede's because the club has become very large recently numbers and teams wise.
Tommy is President of the VAFA side of the club, and he will make a damn fine one!

I'm also not so sure that the Caulfield lads will be too happy with your exuberance at the expense of a recent A Section Premier(just can't type Premier Section Premier) and grand finalist.
The best thing you can do for your club is STFU!

Caulfield Grammar, the poor mans grammar school, the APS equivalent of Assumption College or Mentone Grammar!

Seriously friends, there are only 3 teams who can win this year, those being big Fergus' mob, the purple people or the red and blacks from Toooooooorak Park.

Everyone else is playing for nothing, Carey to be the big fallers this season, St Bernards to win 3 or 4 with Turtle back at the helm with those not so scary tatts.

Old Scotch to again avoid relegation by the skin of their teeth.

Oh for OEG to be still somewhere near the top flight, even B would be fine, this forum has become tedious at best!

BTW, I AM the REAL Pornstar, not an imposter who has previously posted on here.

Don't disagree about who could win the whole damn thing.

But isn't Old Essendon now referred to as PEGS? The link to Penleigh is obviously vital!

wow 27 exoduses from St Bedes for 2012 - BS, THAT!, in any mans language = WTFIGO

Could the last player to leave please turn out the light.

I wonder if Owen will be called back to stop the leakage???????

Cheers

Little bit....this is Old Scotch you are talking about right?

OX this year, lost no one - even McDonald was their 3rd or 4th best on baller last year, will learn the lessons for being too cocky against St.Bedes in the prelim and be driven. Also have got a one on one ratio of coach to player so no issues there.

Trinity bedes down xavs and collegians to contest, flag and with almost everyone else except Scotch who will finish 8th in the mix for finals.

Spot on OTP.
Let's add the umpires favourite son, Watts for B&F
Damien Yze goalkicking

Interesting to see how the new teams go in PA.

Carey generally 5 to 7 goals to the better of Haileybury in 2010.
Haileybury's 2010 GF effort was one of their better games for the year - got close to Carey.
Caulfield overall in 2011 up and around Haileybury's GF level of 2010.
St Bernards played best footy towards end of 2011 but will find themselves back in B Grade 2013 unless they can find a number of mid-fielders.

Both Caulfield and St Bernards need an injection of players to be pushing for a finals berth in 2012.

Scotch are talking themselves up.I HEARD THEM.They said they would make the finals.

They do have good young players and Passador and Houlihan.

I heard some of their players say they would be the fittest side and smash Dela round 1.

The way they were talking they will make the finals.

Hey Rufus i can ensure you my name is not Seb and i actually dont play footy at all.

So dont know what or who you are refering to.

Sorry for going out and having a social life.Perhaps if your Scotch mates or Teammates werent so loud i would not have heard what they were talking about.

what abouty the purples raiding the west, smells of OX glory days when they couldnt rely on their own. the wingman from hawthorn very happy with his charges, up and about the redmen. watch this space as carey working diligently behind the scenes with Hawks, could be some serious talent to emerge on their list soon, strong rumour dela have nabbed a few decent ones of late, time will tell.

Caulf going quietly, a lot going down friday nights at the local, Haileybury in all sorts of trouble, lack of numbers on track last week, must be a worry and one of their best over the years to EDFL, seems like the doh ray me reserves are at all time low.

Enquiries on Wattsy Bottsy's blue boys going on, something to do with houses, bit smelly

OX bringing on their own, going just beautifully, Tom Brain seen training last week given the low stocks, shame, good bunch of blokes at Brindisi. Snowdogs about to be unleashed, big name from Ess District league could appear on the horizon along with a handy running type with leg speed to burn, talk is the speed machine will wear the coveted guernsey
