3 posts in and you are potting a club that I would consider to be the 2nd strongest in the comp (not far off the strongest). And before anyone starts talking about A Grade premierships, its only one item that makes up a strong club.
St.Kevs have more support staff than OX and have as many teams. They have greater number of boys at their disposal. By about 200 over Xavs.

Historically speaking Xavs have SKOB covered in almost every respect - easily.

Just like correcting the record mate.
No one is questioning that SKOB isn't a powerful club now. And to its credit has been in very recent times. But to exclude history over the medium to long term when talking of super powerful clubs as some seem wont to do is to miss an important part of the picture.
Hawthorn isn't regarded as a super power only because of its three consecutive premieships. There is way more to them achieving that well earned status than that, significant as that achievement is.

Talk about deflection. Apparently SKOBs will be lucky to stay up according to yourself. There's no chance that they miss the four. The only certainties for the top 4 at this stage are SKOBs and Xavs.

The reference to superpowers didn't come from OT or OC - but a poster on here.
Having said that, it's the sheer number of players on their list which has provided SKOB and OX with the capacity to play talented players in their thirds and fourths in the past 5 yrs for SKOB and probably 20 for OX.
In my opinion, it's really in that context (depth/numbers) that these two clubs are "super" for the purpose of the dialogue.
Whilst OC and OT have comparable top end talent which keeps them up in the top flight - their lists drop away earlier and they simply can't field competitive thirds teams for Premier Section.

Well, we agree to disagree. A club that hasn't won an Premier game for a decade is not a "superpower" in my view. By your definition, you could have a superpower in Premier B as long as they had good depth and strong thirds and plenty of numbers. Potential superpower maybe but not a superpower yet. Only the mighty Xavs fit that bill. IF SKOB get relegated this year, are they still a "superpower" because of their thirds?
