Never been a big fan of using numbers or injuries as an excuse.
Every club has them.
Shame about the ACL to Stenhardt.
Good player.

Couldnt agree more..... 22 v 22 each sat......Forget all your facts and figures, means nothing.......... Fortune favors the bold.....

Scribe your OT's cheer-leading is getting a little tiresome.

So what if people don't rate them.

I don't think they've got what it takes to win the premiership at the end of the year but I do recognise they are a well rounded, well drilled side.

A footnote to Briza's table, 6 of the 32 players are new / 1 returning to the club.
Morris, Holden, Strauss, McKenzie, Andrews, Bail, Bourke.
Some clearances received later than others.
More pending. That will be more players to choose from.

Thats good for Skobs because most of the guys currently, at this point time, dont seem to have what it takes............

If you can't be passionate about your ammos team here...where can you be?? I say keep sprouting. Whilst not quite a Leicester story..if OT's salute it will indeed be Cinderella like and huge, when you think of what heavyweights like Xavs and now even more so the SKOB AFL/VFL import bonanza...are bringing to the table.
Keep singing Scribulous one!

I'll take that. My source suggests some handy ins. And Carey have a decent record at the pit from memory...

You beat me to it. OC to win at the pit today. Past record has been good there but not so recently.
Panthers have a strong team in so looking forward to the day.

Maplebet closed relegation betting on the Panthers during the week.
A win would throw the Snowdogs amongst the Panthers.
That said, I hear the Snowdogs were alright last week and also welcome a few back.
Bernies by 7-8 goals for me.

Chop Chop Chop...Chopper chopping in early with 3 sausage rolls in first 10 mins. The big boy enjoying himself immensely. As will Canada at half time when I slink in for the traditional University jam scones and tea!

Good game at the Uni.
Xavs flew out of the blocks with 5 quick goals. Then Uni dominated last 10 minutes getting it back to a 15 point deficit.
If Uni Blacks are one of the weaker sides, we have a very strong division this year. Move it well and have some strong bodied mids.

Blacks terrific today. Dip my hat.
SKOB struggling at the Beautiful King. Thought today would be a cert.
OT's must be thrilled. Nothing like a great escape.
Hate to see Panthers when they don't have a good team on the park. B Grade awaits.

Collegians with another top defensive effort today. The main concern I had going into the season was around the forward line and where the goals would come from. I knew the mids and backs were as good as any unit going around. Looks like you don't need to kick big scores, as long as you can stop the opposition scoring more than you.

Looks like Carey are pretty much gone. Cant see how they can turn it around if that was one of the better teams that they can get on the park. It's a shame. Great club.

SKOBS have got to be concerned. We're 5 rounds in now and they aren't showing enough to suggest that they can get near the four. Especially considering how even the teams above them seem to be.

OT firm favourites on Maplebet now to take it all out.

Carey is an interesting one. Hansie or Carlton may like to comment.
Floated around D-F grade for decades then rise on the back of some great players like Dolly Parton, Collins, Howat, Mcqeen-Miscamble and others. But with a tiny tiny flow from a small non footy school...now when this type leave, can they only ever be a C Grade type club? Like a Geelong or Camberwell?
Hard to mix it at the top end if you don't get 40 kids down every year.
Carey seem to get a handful at best.

Have to admire Collegians. Despite kicking just 6 and 7 goals in consecutive weeks they find a way to grind out a win. A number of all time club greats called time at the end of 2015 and with a list lacking star quality they get the job done again. Respect.
