You there Scribe? Frankly, I put it down solely to the influence of bedford.:)

I'm still here AM (just). The loss of Stenhardt, Hamilton and Hunt will be very hard to replace. All very much in or approaching their VAFA prime.

No way Iezzi would walk - he won't be back to playing until mid season at best.

Development of 20-22 year olds will be critical for OTs to remain in the hunt in 2016.

Gone for the coin Scribe?

Are Hunt and Hamilton gone for the season? Huge loss if true. Bloody travelers curse looks to have hit my club again but not to the extent that 2 of the best 4 are disappearing.

Getting a regular gig at VFL teams aligned to AFL clubs can be hard going. Stenhardt may yet play a bit of footy for the Ts next season.

It was a sequential thing, Scribe. The post before linked to a report saying the VAFA is "likely" to embrace a points system. After the strong case you put for the negative I thought the suggestion the VAFA is "likely" to embrace the concept might have been of interest. And, of course, them appearing to have heeded the long held and espoused position of Bedford. :)

A scotchy told me that Strauss has left. Thinks he's going to OM's or DeLa. My mail is he may play with Jamar next year.

I heard he is going too....Didnt receive what he was promised (take that as you will). My money is on the money and he will go to the highest bidder.
Not neccessarily the Ammos......

Some good news for OT's. They have snagged a gun, Doug Morris. Ex Northern Nights B&F winner.

Says plenty about him and also plenty about the club. Funny to hear the cardinal supporters supposedly joyous with their demotion with the expectation of grabbing some silverware and returning to A Grade. Will be made all the more difficult if their old boys jump ship.

Old Scotch, there are people at that club who have no morals or ethics, hopefully they do an Old Paradians.

St Bedes are absolute monties to win the flag next year.

Don't think you'll find anyone around here (or anyone I know) that have anything but contempt for Scotch. I agree that SBMT will be firm flag favourites next year in B. Scotchies shouldn't be pencilling themselves in to be the other team to come up. They are going to lose a few before next season starts, and that is coming off a low base to begin with.

I might be the dissenter. Obviously not being an APS blue blood I have never really understood the anti Scotch sentiment. Always found them to be a good club and those involved to be decent people. One of the best venues in the VAFA and personally I look forward to their return to the top grade.

For a school renowned as having the most silver of silver spoons I cannot recall an occasion when they have felt the need to roll out the old “class” card. From my experience Scotch and Wesley were the only clubs whose players never felt the need to compare social standing or post code on the football field.

Precisely Rooster. Just another piece of arrant nonsense from the forum ranter and I'm surprised Penski - who is usually be a reasoned poster - fell-in. Always found there to be a good atmosphere at Camberwell and the supporters generally very affable.

Dare say there isn't a club that doesn't have an odd-ball or two in it.

AM, why must you respond to my posts at all?
You have absolutely no idea what I am referring too, which has nothing to do with their supporters in the outer, so give it a rest.

FYI - Strauss is leaving because he doesn't want to go from AFL to A to B Grade. Wants to play at a better level. Not because of promises not kept by Scotch.

Where is he playing Canada? I’ve heard a whisper an ‘A’ grade Catholic club in the city of Stonnginton have been putting some work into him......and it’s not De La. Another rumor is that he is set to join a club in a major regional league.

I'm not 100% sure JJ.
It's common knowledge he's moving on and many are wanting to enquire and push their club forward as a good fit.
My money's on SKOB, with DLS, Xavs and Carey sniffing around.
The Jamar factor.

I know you don't process information all that well BS, but I thought even you would have picked-up my post was in response to the well constructed and reasonable one by Rooster. Whose post, in turn, was a response to the post by Penski.

Had your quite scurrilous post that, by extension, impugned a whole football club been treated with the disdain it deserved I would not have bothered to enter the fray.

So much of what you post has barely an acquaintance with fact or reality it's far easier to do no more than shake ones head in astonishment. You know, like your post about the $100k scoreboard at King; like a prominent human rights barro possibly litigating should the VAFA introduce a points system; like the prospect of litigation over conversations about the considerations players might have when choosing one club over another or one amateur club over another amateur club. Just why you are the only one here who gets so hot and bothered whenever the last matter is discussed is bemusing

I'll respond to whomsoever I please. Just as you can. I didn't take kindly to bullies on the field so I'm unlikely to do so off it.

Rest easy I rarely respond to your stuff these days anyway. I'm much more likely to shake my head in amazement as it so often matches your username initials. Just sayin.......

Love the ignore button, I would suggest you respond to most of my posts!
Please do me a favour and put me on ignore, you are the forum bully and frankly people are not interested in posters slagging each other off.
