Chachi, you are speaking crapiola. How is giving Mitchell a one week permit to play different to Milne last year?
Re OM's, great point, but being a SKOB man I'm not really concerned with what they did, although you being a former coach there would obviously care more than most. Browny has done a sterling job, so have that club. Thomas and a few VFL/SANFL in's have definitely helped.
Re the points, they are innacurate and mean nothing. Nick Cook went to SKC but is a one pointer for Bernies. Mitchell hasn't been anywhere near that club for 5 years and plays interstate but is a one pointer.
Check out D4 for serious points totals, 47 for Box Hill and they lost. 50 out of 50 for Doutta Stars yet they also lost.
Re upcoming overseas trips, I've heard OT, Blacks and Xavier will all be massively impacted. Could be wrong too, but we shall see.
The other team was Richmond, where SKOB have 5, so it was a nil all draw.
Bernies have Peart and Schroder, no one else. Schroder is heading overseas for the rest of the year, unlikely to play for Bernies this weekend, then one more at VFL.
He really only needs to name another four. FWIW has already given you Maric. ;-)In between your travel agent work care to name the 5 SKOBs blokes who played for the Richmond VFL team on Saturday to validate the ‘nil all draw’ with St Bernards and their Essendon crew?

All you need to know is that Josh Freezer still plays at Essendon, despite you posting the opposite, whilst Gilham and Gysberts actually do play at SKOB, the old boys team of 'The shit school' as I think you referred to it as? You also made a song and dance about this.
In regards to the other boys of ours who are at Richmond, I'm sure your insiders will tell you who they are.![]()

if anyone wants to find out who is on Richmond's VFL list, there's this big thing called the internet:

Carey v BLACKS
TRINITY v Melburnians
Collegians v XAVS
Blues v SKOBS
Bernards v DLS

Same for me........ Cant agree with Pen. re : Coll /Xavs. (Although I hope Im proven wrong).

With Essendon VFL bye this weekend Bernie’s have provisionally named Schroder, Peart and the “no one else man” Alex Macleod in the 25 man squad.
Be interesting to see if they all play.
Even if they do play, wont be enough to beat De La.....
FF, you sure don't rate Bernard's... I think proud and successful Clubs lift in situations such as this. They are both of those.
On the other hand - pretender and unsuccessful (based on senior flags) start to look around at this point and wonder if they are good enough - I point to SKOB. I am hearing that 2 of their supposedly BIG names want out.. They will play out the year to save face - watch this space.
Half way point. Three teams almost considered 'certs' for the four at the start of the season are occupying positions 7-9.

What oddsdoes Maplebet place for DeLa & Blacks GF?
De La has trailed at ¾ time in 4 of the 7 games they have won. A very brave and resilient team but on top of the ladder with a % of 120 suggests they are hardly dominant. Right at the moment Blacks are the best side going around. Very little between the top 9 clubs.
Just asking the question based on what I see Jimmy.
As for the come from behind wins i reckon that they are great for building belief and character, and contribute to overall team success. The Blacks are a very good side, they beat De La by a point a few weeks ago right on the siren! They just might be the team to beat right at this moment. But they have plenty of time to go before exams start...
Next 3 weeks with Trinity, De La & Blacks all facing off will be great to watch & could define the top 4
Bernard's are well behind and shouldn't be in that group of 9 you have suggested- they are to far off the pace & need a miracle to stay in. With the Bombers VFL side doing ok & its senior team suffering bad injuries its unlikely that they will be able to rely on there VFL players to play with them on a regular basis to help with this resurrection.
