He'd be handy back at Caulfield with his brother, nice player and great recruiting by Blues.
Coming in to Premier with all the momentum (20-0) and a summer of high profile recruits, I can't help but think SKOBS need to make hay this year.
It's no secret that many of their stars won't be playing in 2017.
Plus Strauss will return to Scotch and veterans Dowd and Lynch will hang up the boots.
After all the hype, sitting 5-5... overrated is an understatement!

I doubt Strauss will be back at OS, especialy if they stay in B. You may have hotter info PB.

Look Party Boy raises some interesting observations. Surprisingly not showing the usual love he has for SKOB over the years....
IMO Xavs have been even worse underperformers, as much as it pains me to say. Already in A, a huge influx of recruits, great depth and a firing undefeated unders means that Xavier Nation should not be 5-5.
Whilst I expect these two giants (talking about school and player numbers not recent success so pipe down...) to come home hard, I think the winner of their big clash will be the one to take home all the choccies.
Will it be a big game?? The biggest of the season yet.

Straussy won't be going anywhere, his two best mates in Jamar and Bail will be at SKOB in 2017, plus Daniel Bell will also be involved in an off field role.
I would suggest SKOB are doing okay, only one and a half games out of the four, with a very strong core of young players amongst the 'Big 5'.
Canada, I'm told Jay Bruno will make it 7 clubs in 7 years as he quit OX last week?

I think where Skobs got it wrong was the opinion of some posters that you may as well give us the silverware now. The season is going to be a cakewalk. A complete goliath of the Comp. Well as we all know, they arent all dominating and wont be. Xavs werent as vocal, smug? yes but not shouting from the roof tops. The difference is that one club has tasted ample success over the years and the other is a beginner,. A fare degree of immaturity and lack of humility by some Skob posters has done them no favors. Just now on a post they are already spruiking next year recruits..

Give me a break, we've said all along we were firstly looking to avoid relegation and then hopefully play finals. Go and read the history of the SKOB posters on here, we are just happy to be out of B grade
Started well in his first 6 games but things went a little off the rails both on and off the field.
Good luck to him.
I don't barrack for SKOB, but I wrote 95% of the pump up stuff.
But wasn't really my fault...Maplebet were swamped with interest for them.
Maybe you could get your fav. coach over there
Wow what a surprise. I would suggest that even the Xavs players and coaching group saw this one coming when it became apparent very early on that the standard was a fair bit better than what he might have expected. Which of his numerous former club$ is he heading back to?
Good result for Xavs as it gives them the opportunity to blood a youngster (yeah right – as if that gonna happen !)

Don't have that kind of pull Bedders.
But many teams would love a triple premiership coach at the helm.
Ormond would be unlikely to be heading to D and may also have a 2015 premiership flag in the club rooms if they had the genius at the helm.
