Think I should change my name to Dingbat after not submitting my tips last week.

Bloody BYES!

Anyhoo, my tips for this week are:

Old Brarton to retain the My Girlfriends a Stunner but has a Plum in 'er mouth Cup over their poorer yet still well off seaside neighbours by 11 points at "You've got to be kidding, is this their Ground?" Oval

The Old Ivanhoe Grizzlies to defeat their fierce inner Nor' Eastern rivals La Marseillaise in a close one.

The Junee Blacks to defeat the St.Bernard's Mortgage Busters in the This is Harder to pick than a Broken nose shield.

St. Kevin of Federline to cause an upset stomach over the highly fancied Caulfield Judd's in the Nick Cave Cup.

Hampton Hammers not to win their first of five more losses against the Ross Oakleigh's in the Glass Half full Cup.

I'm at Bernards v Blacks. Could be a real interesting game.

three season statement games Pazz.

if Bernards lose that's it for them

Caulfield & SKOBS not as defining however will give bragging rights leading into finals.

Beauy & OB, if OB win then they can lock 3rd or 2nd away

The boy's are heading out to Oakleigh for the clash of the districts - there have been a couple of big wagers on the Rovers at the Station Hotel tonight that they could break their duck. Talking about Duck I wouldn't mind some on the menu at the RSL at half time OOB. Looks like early openers are on the go as we get out there - looking forward to a great game guys - I see our favorite Wass man is back in so look forward to seeing his antics as well - VG player that lad.

...and i wish Ivanhoe all the best

I feel Woolnough is going through the 4 year blues (or blacks) - saw him a few weeks ago and his messages are seemingly falling flat on a few of his old playmakers. Also disenchanting for a few in the magoos, as stated a few weeks back can't believe Holt is not getting a run in the 1's and now Heeley.
If one of these guy's don't get a run this week then I think he is just starting to flog a dead horse - needs to gain uplift pressure by dropping a few of the players that have just switched off especially in big games - this may start to drive increased consistency in their games leading up to finals.

I know he was devastated with the boys in failing to go 7-5 and put a gap on a couple of sides so I think their season and his 2012 contract maybe on the line in the next 2 weeks.

Looks like UB selection committee read CC notes as the boys at the Station confirm that Heeley will play tomorrow however Holt just has to keep going in the magoos.

Wooly might man-up soon and pick ya.

Old Brighton vs Beaumaris OB too good.
Marcellin vs Old Ivanhoe .Eagles been good of late, pushing the top 2 to within 3 goals.
St Bernards vs University Blacks. Need to play Byrne in the guts, Merro as star. 24 a great kick for goal.
St Kevins vs Caulfield Grammarians SKOB too many out for this week against a very good side.
Oakleigh vs Hampton Rovers. Oakliegh my dark horse for 4th.

Heeley definitely played 1s and was Uni's best. I think losing Bolts is having a telling affect because they seem a bit short of on-field leaders.

Excellent second half by the Snow Dogs though. Apparently Skobs lead basically all day only for the Fields to pinch it.

I thought symon was their best
and I thought number 50 in magoos is a heeley aswell

pazzo, I'm assuming your a man of the cloth, can u comment on the treatment
the st bernards chf got yesterday....?

Murph, I wasnt there yesterday, I was the St Kevin's v Caulfield school game.
I'm starting to think the 8 under 19 boys for St Kevin's are better than the ones who are injured, a great effort after leading by 18-32 points all day. Lost in the last minute from what i heard.
Most importantly, St Kevin's College defeated a star studded Caulfield Grammar to win the APS premiership.
Well done by St Bernards, right in the mix now.

Boys, unfortunately the Dartfish doesn't quite capture the goal kicked by Marcel Bruin on the half time siren but the reaction by all who saw it did. An absolute thumper - nearly had the authorities calling for a minor melee .... in the crowd.

For goal of the year. Go to OI v Marc: Start of the last qtr. Big O has a new occupation. Selling Candy.
Not Once, Not Twice but three times, then slotting the goal from 45.

Marcellin just wont go away, buy yesterdays loss will probably see them in C Grade.

OI got a absurd free kick at the top of the square with 60 seconds to go. Compounded by a 25 metre penatly, then to add salt to the wound, as the player kicked the goal, a Marcellin player threw his mouth guard/tape at the player. Then got reported.

As absurd as the free kick was, it had been paid 5 times during the day, all against OI, two of which indirectly lead to two goals.

One umpire, I believe paid all free kicks.

If you were under the pack with the ball (regardless of whether you dragged it in or not), no matter how many people were sitting on you, if you didn't get it out, bad luck. It is not stupid AFL or its interpretations. It will be his last game.

The crowd certainly gave them a real send off after the game.

Speaking of razzes, Ryan Semmell at Haileybury's home ground last year - the crowd were giving him a hard time (as the OH crowd like to do) because he was minding Brett Voss and he kicked a cracker. The Hampton supporters would remember. Similar response by Nick Butler (same ground, same bat station) and he played a blinder after being stirred up from off field.

Maybe you can give us a clue Murph - from the Umpires, Supporters or Opponents?

Im Gonna make a Bold prediction.

Caulfield will not play off in the Grand Final.
Old Brighton to knock them off in round one of the finals.
St Kevins to topple them in the next week.

The is no certainties in life, and i just think drama will unfold.
Dont get me wrong, they deserve to go up, but i dont see it panning out like that.

Those who have a brain, are entitled to think.

I'm not convinced it will play out like that just yet, but certainly believe there is a high probability about it. Caulfield have fluffed their previous 2 finals series after proving to be the best team in it through the H&A season. OB are looking ominous and SKOBs will take confidence out of what happened on the weekend knowing how mentally fragile they are in finals.
